The scheme:
The number of loops must be divisible by 4 + 3 + 2 edge stitch.
In the example the number of loops are 17.
1 row - knit 3, *sl 1 purl, knit 3*.
2 row = 1 row - knit 3, *sl 1 purl, knit 3*.
3 row - knit 1, sl 1 purl, *knit 3, sl 1 purl*, at the end of the row knit 1.
4 row - purl 1, sl 1 purl, *purl 3, sl 1 purl*, at the end of the row purl 1.
Repeat from the 1st row.
** - repeat loops specified between **.
sl 1 purl - slip one purl loop with yarn in front.
