@@keywacat I had a feeling when they announced invisible ink foils for the Not-Cluedo set that they will crack down on bootleggers sooner or later. The new Not-Strangers Thing set also has some crazy foils, ugly, not rare and hard to replicate
@@LittleMushroomGuy They crack down when and where they can, but I think the way the Chinese run frontmen between the buyers and the printer makes it difficult to stamp out. That and the current political situation vis-a-vis the US likely dampens Chinese government interest in stopping it on their end.
From what I have heard they are fully in control of it. The RC working with/for Wizards and there's a lot of money involved. Totally agree on the Sheldon part. That's why they reprinted and cashed in on the banned cards last year CMM and RIX while already knowing they are going to be banned. Disgusting. 200% cards wont be reprinted in the next years. But whatever, players should play what they want with their friends anyway. Just sucks , that they beat the customers trust again though its already on the ground. All in all a stupid move since rule 0 exist and I don't even own these cards.
@MitFruchtSaft Rule Zero only works in a known group, with people you see often and actually hold conversations with. Sitting down at a new table with people one has never met before, or only meet sporadically, it helps that the RC provides a common ground for the times no one has an interest in holding the Rule Zero chat. For example the lads I play with out in Ostruzna agree with ignoring WotC's 'cultural insensitivity' bullshit: studio.ruclips.net/user/videoOUBbQPmT2LM/edit , a bunch of random players might not be as reasonable.
What a great video. You are so lucky that my friend was so dumb to not sell it.
@jiripospisil8799 Well, if he did not sell his Mana Crypt he could work on some vintage decks, get the moxes and dual lands from China.
I got my Jeweled Lotus and two Nadus the same day they got banned, I still feel scammed even tho the lotus was Chinese porceilan haha
@LittleMushroomGuy Did the Chinese guys at least get it to look right?
@@keywacat they still haven't mastered the art of etched foil
@@LittleMushroomGuyNot surprising, eh? As we've talked about before they really have no financial incentive to sort it out properly.
