Well I didn’t understand too much of it but I know what military trucks are like. My husband used to drive one for a little while when he first got into the Army. That is an amazing transformation and considering the bare bones version the military starts out with-at least back then-that was some incredible work. Especially considering your time frame. Now I wish I took the truck driver option the Army offered when I went in. I just couldn’t see myself driving a deuce and a half at the time!

Nice job. Love those seats, and i'm impressed at the insulation work you did. Cup holders in the console that's all-electrickery and plugs? Recipe for disaster. You can get inserts for those to hold things like the Garmin 2-way hand held (that doesn't need to be so high it's obstructing forward vision. Also, could mount a dash cam behind the rear-vision screen, and re-locate the Go-Pro to ceiling mount, so forward vision not obstructed. I thought the tacho would be more useful than another clock! Love that quilted-look duco.

I have a gran total budget of about 200k, Do you think i would be bale to get one running to the specs to live in full time with that kind of budget? I was looking at a sprinter van but after seeing this, i might be changing my mind. Plus i bet this is a lot simpler to work on than a sprinter van. If i do this, which im leaning more on doing so, im looking to build out to live in for at least 5 years. Wanting to take it through extreme colds and heat and everything in between. Also, where can i get that back extender piece, im sorry to say, but i kind of want to copy this build exterior aside from color, and cab area as well. You think 200k will get everything i truly hope?

@@drivetheglobe, look no further than Bryce Wasielak on the lmtv mtv military trucks Facebook page. He travels the country installing 3.07 and 2.87 gears in these trucks. I got my 3.07's from him and installed them my self. Replace all seals while you've got it apart. There is a list of the relevant seals on the FB page in the "Files" section.

God bless ya pal..but let's be real.... a fair majority of the time your "Overland Expedition Vehicle " is traversing dirt roads or an occasional fire trail with the balance on paved roads......the same "off roading" that my 86' Honda Accord can handle...I witnessed these glorified and grossly overpriced Mall Crawlers at Moab last year... drive it across the Sahara or better yet any of the true off roads in California or Nevada....much respect if you do...m

I probably wouldn't want to live full time in your Honda accord though. Hope to get it in some cool places though- and definitely will be going through the sahara.
