I think I’ve seen his last three rigs I really enjoy how he improves upon the experience and each rendition. I’m also jealous of the capability and the adaptability.
I've been watching Mike's build video series so this came as a surprise that it's all done. Having now seen it "finished", the build videos will still be useful to see. A fantastic accomplishment, especially given the compressed time line to build it! Very impressive!
So much nicer than most vans, trucks, campers, etc. Has everything one might need and then some as well as being wide enough two people can "pass" in the hall at the same time. Not claustrophobic at all. Happy new year!
Wow perfect setup with an independent dry shower, great water capacity, motorcycle garage, etc, you can tell a lot of thought went into this. I want one!
no, especially not if its something like this with no ventilation(also where would he store the wood?). A heater would be a acceptable substitution. but if i had to guess that AC probably works as a heater as well
The 3 months 18 hrs. working to convert from an army truck to camper outstanding. One could work a week or 2 max 3,4. Love and passion with determination huge planning and dexteriousness otherwise could not be able. How much does this cost without labor? And labor 18hrs x 90=1800 approxiametely 14 dollars for an hour 8000 USD plus 5-6K for the buying cost of the vehicle plus parts 35.000 USD? Could worth I believe 60K in 2020 before pandemic!❤
wow what a Rig! its like a giant Luxury Range Rover ! Really nice design, love the living space the kitchen and bedroom elements and the Garage is a gamechanger. The way the gentleman put a "chase" permanently in the living space so he can install runs from the garage to the living space is an innovation ive long dreamed about, although in my design iwas tyhinking more of a bulkhead, but yeah what a cool smart innovative design element. I love seeing thje state of the art being advanced by people not specifically in the trades but excelling beyond compare anyway. I find it inspiring and im in the trades! Bravo to you Sir! Cheers thank you for showing this great work of art and living.
Que tipo más agradable, que vehículo más impresionante, me encantó el garaje y el sistema de subir una moto, que por cierto es pesada, más de 200 kilos, muchas gracias por enseñarlo.
Great truck. The construction is so unusual US ;) In the EU, UNICAT makes 8x8 bodies. I recommend seeing it because the interior has a different concept. Now they make Dodge RAM.
I followed behind one of these to Rosevelt Lake in Alaska and his tire ruts were so big in the soft road that it kind of made me mad. Also he got stuck and destroyed the poor road. Definitely shouldn’t have been there in my opinion. It was cool to see it though. He was traveling pretty fast too which was impressive.
I used to buy things and build things with this mindset. I have finally realized that there is nowhere to actually use this stuff anymore. Not in the US anyway. I bought a dual sport motorcycle thinking i'd like to go cross country on dirt. There is no dirt anymore. Wanted to take a long 4-5 day trip on 4 wheelers, no trails long enough anywhere, not that allow camping. Sure you can take it down to south america or africa somewhere, but then you become a target.
Mike may not be the best at posting content on a regular basis.🤔😉🎞🎬🎥 But he's got the rig building down.🛠 🦍 Not to mention his branding is and design is next level. 💪👍
great but make the next machine with a low instep with variable height springs or whatever so a motorcycle can be driven in easily. also make it possible to walk from the garrage to the reast of the house. also slap solar on the side because of snow and low sun in norther and southern places. also make the driver cabin accessible from the house because of comfort and bears and stuff. also have a totally enclosed waste system. poop gets burnt or turned into biogas first. water gets filtered and osmotically filtered and drunk again. perhaps by boiling it if you need for marketing purposes .distilling. but multiple filters including osmois and remineralisation should be it. do some uv and silver too.
Love you guys ,always epic footage . So Overlanding Truck next ,Good idea then to can come to South Africa. Have a awesome New year Chilling. Justin Stark Cape Town South Africa 🍻🍻🎉🎉✨✨🎆🎆
So crazy to see a full tour of this rig and on the owner's channel, he's still piece meal feeding us the build videos with no completed tour despite being done.
Keep in mind, it's not just a truck but a nearly self sufficient home. All you need is a water source at your destination... while you await the end of the apocalypse of course.
In a nutshell. Tread Lightly overboard. Angry locals. Angry overlanders. Because public dirt roads demolished. Roads get repaired and eventually closed. But not for the so-called "Fauna and Flora Preservers", happy for the unpaved roads now solely open for them, the locals and probably some with an expensive permit. Nice rig though.
The motorcycle rigging is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time. This Rig is
Amazing.
My favorite part of the rig now that I have spent time with it on the road.
Nice bike, too.
I thought his last rig was amazing, this new rig is absolutely spectacular. Congrats to Mike, I'm happy for him.
I think it's a work of art. Mike needs to write a book on his adventures and add in the schematics of the vehicle.
I think I’ve seen his last three rigs I really enjoy how he improves upon the experience and each rendition. I’m also jealous of the capability and the adaptability.
If I had money I would go the same route.. awesome

Wow what an amazing rig, its an absolute credit to you not only building it but also having the vision to design this incredible home on wheels ❤
God, I wish I had the money for a rig just like this. Man's living the dream if you ask me!
Wow what a fantastic piece of kit…. as a motorcyclist that garage is the perfect icing on the cake!! 😊👍
Absolutely amazing rig. Would be a lifelong dream to tool around in something like this. Only thing I’d change is the ceiling tiles.
This is by far the best Truck camper as far as functionality and the interior layout is concerned… plus he build it in 3 months? Unreal.
Definitely a dream home for me and my cat 🐈, 😊😊😊.
Awesome build very beautiful ceiling 😍😍
What an awesome vehicle. Thank you for doing the video
One of the best conversions.
amazing work

This guy lives the life I wish I had 😂
Take my money!!!! Perfection!!!
Nice build. Thanks for sharing.
Nice work Kevin! Love to see you mix it up with fun videos like this!
THE BEST RV EVER.
I ❤ This Rig...It's Awesome 🎉🎊
Only 1 Addition though...a Wood Stove for Winter time...

@@ironboy3245 Understood 👍🏾

Wowwww....legitimately Badass!!! Best Overland rig I have seen yet!

What a cool build.

Amazing
Wow, that is awesome!
That is one well thought out and planned out rig. Who could say no to that? 👏
DAMN AWSOME!
He's done an incredible job!
Only thing I can say is holy cow !!!
Price?
WOW!! What a build. Thanks for the lookie-see.

You know, I've never seen these huge rigs at the end of an off road trail, only at the beginning.
Awesome build. Where do you find a truck as a start for this?
I've seen them on Expedition Portal Classifieds, Facebook Marketplace, and Military Auction sites 👍
WOW! Amazing build - Defiantly done right!
Maybe I missed it, but did he say what the max speed is?
With highway gears, 3.07 ratio it can cruise around 65mph realistically.
What an amazing rig!
Dope setup!
Now that's overlanding my wife would approve of
As fry would say
“ here !! , take my money 💰!!!”
lol
Dude can you build me a rig this is fire 🔥

Jealous. It made you jealous.
Good job mate
I saw the beginning of the build, wait maybe the one prior since he had the Unimog before.
Nope I saw this one as I remember the name.
WOW!
What’s that octagon material on the doors? Is it sound deadening? Where can I get some for mine!?!?

Today, the Old saying of everyone pays taxes, is no longer valid in many countries.
Wow, does not look like the vehicle I drove all over Iraq in 20 years ago!!
Atleast you had Lmtv’s when you were in Iraq 🇮🇶. I was riding around in the old 900 series dump truck and m998 hmmwv’s with homemade armor.
@@SupaSargeakaQI was one of two M-60 gunners in a hard-ox home made armor d5 ton dump for 4 months before we got those LMTV's. I feel ya!
Great build. I would like to know the overall cost.
Is Baobab.. not “Beeeyoooubab”:) cool rig!
I want the Mercedes mid size camper van haha

😂 Love it! Ha, ha, you know me about the posting regularity. New years resolution is to be consistent like Kevin! We will see.
HI there can you tell me the brand and name of the motorcycle elevator please?
Perfect rig for the chicken Littles out there.
This guy needs a military contract.
I'm not joking.
And research on how to keep the cabinets from bouncing off the walls.
What model is the stewart and stevenson? He said a 2002.
Weird to see the complete rig here while only parts in his channel. 😂😂😂😂😂
The curse of the busy RUclipsr! We are several months behind too. 😁
Taj mahal on your screen this is in india 🇮🇳 ❤

How many coats of pain t ?
It's a Dr. Who box.
How much does a truck like this cost?
Build cost?
What make truck is this again?

Editing videos takes time. Enjoy the preview.
Long live
It's ironic that the thumbnail for this video describes this truck as "Apocalypse Ready" when the truck probably gets 6 miles to the gallon.
Will fuel efficient vehicles rule the apocalypse?
