- A garage! Yep, this ultimate overland expedition vehicle has a garage in the rear of the 21 foot habitat box to store my motorcycle, biycles and other gear. In addition, it is also the location of all my electric and water systems.
In todays episode I explore the garage area in detail and show you how I load the motorcycle.
Follow along as I completely outfit and custom fabricate my home on wheels. In this video series I will detail all of the components and build steps that go into completing the ultimate overland expedition vehicle build.

I'd love to see you just ride up a ramp and land in the garage 😂😂
That would be interesting.
Awesome and outstanding as always
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice garage and loading system. I have a garage in the back of my skoolie, also for my bike, but it's a bit smaller so it fits on the wheelchair lift that came with the bus. It is very nice having an inside storage for the bike and all your other stuff.
Agreed, can't beat it. Just having the stuff inside and not getting dirty all of the time is a win.
Thanks for sharing. You may want to put a chock between the front wheel and under the fender. before you strap down your 390 onto the lifting frame. You should take the load of your front forks when transporting your bike. That maybe why you have blown the fork seals?
Interesting, never thought of that before.
Awesome but I'd like to see the whole building process of the outlander and this marvelous transformation from a military truck in detail. Would you care to share the whole uncut videos of that please?
This was episode 20, there is a whole series on this.
Michael your garage is a “monster garage” of sorts! 😄. Thanks for sharing sir
Ha Ha, it kinda is! Thanks as always for watching.
I really liked this talk over format. What enjoy most of these expedition or nomad life videos is not only the epic sceneries but mostly the truck being put into use, like cooking, refilling the water tank, all the little bit and bobs, etc...view behind the scene stuff, stuff you don't usually see. Btw... She's a freakin beauty of a beast, total dream expedition vehicle, that machine doesn't belong here mate, it belongs in planet Mars🤙
Thank you so much, although there are a lot of places to explore before I head to Mars. :)
What kind of water filtration / purifying system did you install ? That instant hot water heater is pretty sweet . Will you have a need to install external cameras for security with LED white and red lights for nights ?
I have a UV LED light filtration system as well as a number of inline particulate filters. I will be doing a more in depth look at my water systems in the future episodes. I do have 24hr cameras that transmit to the internet for security. Thanks for watching.
Wow.
Beautiful unit.
I had been watching your build (all the Videos)
Hopefully I’ll get to mine soon.
Thanks for sharing.
Could I ask you where you got your roller garage door. Very very commun in Europe but here in the US it is harder to find.
In advance. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for watching. The roll up doors are Gortite and I got them from Dynatect. They will custom make any size and are really very reasonably priced.

Thank you so much for your fast and kind and very helpful information regarding the roll up garage door.
Thanks again
