I think a lot of his more outrageous anecdotes were cooked up or embellished by Sharon to make him seem like “the wild and out of control Prince of Darkness...you just never know what he’ll do next!!” I’m certainly not saying he WASN’T out of control, but a lot of the stories that have been re-told over and over throughout the decades have a whiff of PR spin.
