The CKV/ VGH / VGL lines running around the border of the panel short amongst themselves. To remove this shorting we need to block the supply to these lines. The other LVDS cable still carries all the required voltages and signals and the picture becomes normal.

I've stopped restart by masking 2nd pin (counting from left), on top ribbon (looking on motherboard from bottom of TV). It's no longer restarting, I can hear the sound, also when pressing buttons on remote but still no video. I've tried to cover other parts of ribbon, also the another one, but without success. Is is possible that without 2nd pin working, there will be no option to fix it? The TV is QE55Q60RAT
@@Edob_ No sorry, tried different boards no improvement. Covering some pins stopped the constant reboot and provided sound. Did get a few vertical lines for some pins. You might get lucky if you get the correct pins and have a degraded picture. I gave up in the end.

Réparation bleuffante et pourtant née viens de l’appliquer sur mon qe55q60rat de Samsung et super cela fonctionne après avoir passé des heures à chercher la panne (échange standar mainboard x2 sur eBay ) au final cela m’a coûté les frais de retour 17 E. what you did did not fix the problem. the problem is either the t con board or Maine borad. why no trouble shooting ? you trying to cut corners. the easy fix does not always fix
I had this doubt as well. What I used a thin piece of paper that covered 3 or 4 contacts. I randomly put it at one side of the flat cable, first in one cable and the TV turned on fine but the screen had some lines blinking and kind of ghost image. Then I removed the paper and put in the other cable, it then worked fine with good image, only two horizontal lines are fixed appearing in the screen, I believe these are the lines which signal comes through the contacts I isolated. It seems like we only need to change the pressure in the connection. Something to investigate further.
Hello I just did this to my Samsung 70inc TV but the color is still dark after trying this trick out. One side of the TV the color is darker then the other side what should I do next to check for if you can help. It's on the left side

After following your instructions, I am able to watch tv BUT the image on the left side screen is in black/white and the right side screen has colour. I put the tape on the left ribbon cable.Can you help me? What do you think the problem is? There is a noise coming from the T-CON board from the left side where the left ribbon cable is connected.
@@nikhitarenchi963 First of all u have to accept that it cannot be fixed 100% like they showed in the video. Once I accepted that I was able to adust to the flickering. Now I dont mind it that much. Keep moving the tape left of right until you have the best possible image and then LEAVE IT. After that, play around with the TV picture settings to make the image a little better. I will share my settings with you: picture mode standard, Expert settings: everything full except contract to 50, Sharpness to 16, Tint(G/R): G54 R46, Contrast Enhancer: low, HDR+ mode: unchecked. The others I left as it is, but u might have other preferences like lowering the brightness etc. I am greatfull that the TV turns on. 95% is better than 0%. Replacing parts does not guarantee that if might fix the issue, it might be main board, PSU, T-con, ribbon cable, one of the leds that could be broken and maybe replacing that one might fix it, or you have to replace the whole screen that will cost you a lot of money and still not guaranteed, so then its better to buy a new TV. It took me a while but am finally able to resist the flickering. Hope this helps you ;)

if your tv displays the logo. tv may have some other problem not with the screen. it can be software or mainboard. or try ribbon to cover with fewer lines. or try two ribbons. but not at the same time. try once if you have no success try. then the other ribbon

I have a QE58Q60TAUXXU with single ribbon, covering pin 35 (from the bottom) no rebooting and sound OK but no picture, yet to try multiple patches.

no, the tape is here to remove power that might be lost in the panel, and triggering the reboot. your ribbon cable is already good.

9:40 - 9:50 показано как и какие закрыть контакты на нижнем шлейфе...
4:40 - 5:20 видно что изолента уже была на шлейфе , путём эксперимента сдвига и толщины изоленты был обойдён дефект...
Отступить с краю 12 контактов на ширину примерно 8 контактов - в моем случае телек чудесным образом излечился!
