That's how it's done, right there! I see a bunch of stuff on that I hadn't before. The shock adjustment blades on the front and back must have been a huge help. It seems to float right along.
I had a lot of trouble setting her Mark, almost at the point of disappointment, till these blades and some other stuff I needed to push the suspension out closer to the tires(shock angle was inward at the bottom of the shock). She is dialed now and running great, except of some drive train overheating. You maybe can help me with that, as I need suggestions for a brushed motor or even brushless (just need to fit inside wpl single speed gearbox)
@@ScaleCustomCrawlers-SCC heat sink on the 370. I have one on my C24 and C54 and they help a lot. But that's also on the aftermarket ones. I'm not sure those 370 heat sinks will fit the WPL configuration. Aside from the occasional issue with my C24 Green Machine, those have never overheated even on the craziest of days. I know there must be some brushless options out there but I never fully wandered down that path with WPL to try and figure out what would work. I know that people have done it, I just haven't yet!
@@VermontScaleCustoms A brushless set up on Mellow Yellow would be wild, I hope to get one after summer savings! I also scouted aliexpress for 370 with more torque and there are some. Maybe I'll just save for some brushless really though
I think so too! Thank you very much James! 🙏 Took me a lot of time and some weird stuff to try till I found the golden spot. I always start my builds from a tire size I will use, but I grabbed these awesome Nitto Trail Grapplers just a year ago, so I had to finalize everything with all I had in house.
Hehe! It is a combination of many things, lots of weight (from the brass cage and the axles) , wider stance from the adapters/wheels and ofc some tuning from the shocks which are very soft right now. Thank you for watching 🙏
@@ScaleCustomCrawlers-SCC I've seen a lot of 1/16 cars on RUclips that have been modified to have smoother movements, but they almost all look ridiculous. The garage is too high, the wheels are too big, the top is almost completely removed, lol. I like RC cars that look close to the real thing, and your car looks similar to the real thing. Nice.
Such a nice build! Love how the truck articulates over the sand!
Thanks a bunch! Happy to know you enjoyed the truck on the sand 😁
Beautiful WPL build Great filming !
Thanks you very much 🙏

Beautiful photography and a sweet little truck. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Naturally, I am glad you enjoyed it 🙏
What is this funk soul groove? This is 1:16 movement? It's like watching slow motion. My 1:16 C24 looks like a flea jumping... LOL
