I don't believe being sarcastic means there is truth in it all the time. My family is one of those family's that make fun of each other, are sarcastic and its almost always in good humor. Granted on occasions there is a bit of snark in it sometimes but most of the time its just in good humor. That being said my extended entire family can't even talk about getting together without a fight busting out. Drives me nuts how families let petty crap get in the way of what's important and in turn let so much time pass between visiting!
