    Broke it down to one thing at a time and made it look a lot easier
    Will give this a try next time

    Excellent explanation of how cruise control works and yes it is a great way to get smooth cinematic shots, by combining multiple motions easily.

    Best cruise control video I have seen yet. Thanks.

      Thanks buddy, appreciate the comment. I was genuinely quite excited by what it can do. I'm working on an advanced use or waypoints which has very clever possibilities.

    I wish I could subscribe twice lol If only I saw this before I went outside. Wow.....this device does way more that I first thought.

      Cheers buddy. I'm having the best fun with the waypoints. The more you practice with it the more you can get it to do. It's very cool.

      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency I need to watch more videos on way points but nothing is more important than Mastering Cruise Control I already customized the buttons to your settings lol

      Hi Gary, yes, being the new RC I've found a lot of similarities apart from the active track.

    Can you rotate the drone mid-flight while it continues on the CC trajectory ?

    • @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, you can either just add a turn or add a turn and hit the C1 button again to add it to the CC motion, that is what I demonstrated in the last part of the video, Forward - Elevate - ROTATE. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

    At 0:17 I think you mean C2.

      😅 I think, if I remember correctly, I put text over that corrects it. But well spotted, glad you were paying attention 🤣

      If you did, I don’t see it.
      No matter, life goes on.
      Incidentally, any way of using downloaded OS maps with Mini 4 Pro ?
      I am going to Snowdonia on Saturday and the default maps are useless on the mountains.

    • @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency  3 месяца назад

      Hi David the details, you can save offline maps which is worth doing. I haven't herd of a way Of using third party maps. I'll do some research and if you find a way do let me know. Safe flying sounds awesome

    I'm not sure if I'm explaining this right, but it s it possible to have the drone fly forward on cruise control, and then use the left stick to turn the drone, without changing the direction the drone is moving? I'm thinking an action like what you could do with an Inspire 3, where the drone flies forward but the camera turns separately

    • @MacQuiddy
      @MacQuiddy 10 месяцев назад

      Sorry for the typo: I meant to say "is is possible"

    • @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Mac, I get you. The answer would be no and yes. In cruise if you want to look up and down then you're tilting the gimbal, to look right or left you would need to turn the drone and then you're changing its course so it will fly in that direction. But you could do it using waypoints. I'm working on that video because there's a lot you can do with the waypoints to make it perform like the Inspire.

    • @MacQuiddy
      @MacQuiddy 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Got it, so essentially you would have to fly the path first to mark where you want to fly with waypoints, and then you can essentially cruise control that path afterwards and change the orientation of the drone, but you can't do it natively the first time using cruise control itself. I'm looking forward to your video

    • @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency  10 месяцев назад

      Not quite, difficult to explain. It'll have to be the video 😉

    On the way up the drone footage got jerky, why is that?

  • @gl7286

    Can you explain the message you got at 2:38? “Push control stick before enabling cruise control.” I get this message every time I try to engage cruise control even though I am underway and the control stick is pushed so that the drone is flying forward. It requires a second press of C2 to then activate and set cruise control. I flew a friend’s M4P before getting mine and cruise control engaged with a single press of C2 everytime. I don’t understand why I’m getting the message you got at 2:38.

    • @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency  9 месяцев назад

      Hey buddy, I know what you mean, it seems like you're doing all the right things. It seems that you need to initiate the movement for a certain time then hit cruise. I think if you do it too quickly, it doesn't pick up the movement.

    • @gl7286
      @gl7286 9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the tip. I’ll try it with a bit more patience (when I fly close to home, my range is very limited - close to an airport - so I was trying to get it into cruise control quickly). Thanks.@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency

      @gl7286 thinking about it maybe waypoints is a better option

    Is it the best drone for indoors shooting ? Is there minimum speed for CC ? And can it CC when rolling right to left or opposite ? (Instead of forward)

    • @SlipstreamCreativeAgency
      @SlipstreamCreativeAgency  5 месяцев назад

      Cc would be pointless indoors. Watch this video for advice on flying indoors ruclips.net/video/R8ocZvhzL2E/видео.htmlsi=YCV-PvPAaFTG0GH8
