Thanks for your work. I do think you are vastly overvaluing Aug. The DPS contribution of an Aug is much less now than a third meta DPS. Yeah utility and survivability for the party are 10/10 but damage is far from it. 6/10 at best. Ask Dorki or others who have done 100+ 10's and higher on beta. Aug groups struggle on time compared to blasters.

After the heroic week is done or maybe the first mythic week too there will be omega changes in tunning. I bet !!! I can only hope for Elemental doesn't get hammered too much because of being in the top 5 dps. 🤞🤞🤞

The only thing I dont get on this list is Assa ST damage. I Dont have a feeling they are that good in ST, when talented for M+. They really seem lackluster compared to DKs or WW when it comes to boss damage.
Why on every other tier list out there feral is at the bottom, D or F tier except petkos. Everyone is saying feral is the worst melee but every feral I see is doing very well some even topping meters. If feral is equal or stronger then fury, arms, ww, enhance, survival, unholy, ret, etc...why do people say its the worst melee?
Because they dont know this game so deeply like mr. petko does. He knows and plays every single spec and test it on beta. While others maybe know 5 specs very good and are just guessing the rest from observing other players performance in beta keys or just simply made it up. Therefore they dont factor in a lot of stuff besides then raw dmg. Or they do their lists for different purposes like extreme high keys (petko does for average players), or for god comp (while petko does for standalone spec / pugging) or in order of pure fun to play, or best for beginners (easy to pick up). Petko lists are a good mix from every category for the low to mid range keys.

It's not easy. People struggle to extract the potential from the class. When you have bear and resto being strong, feral falls lower because it doesn't offer anything different in comparison. In low keys it probably doesn't perform as well since it has ramp and snapshotting mechanics. Better to go full mo go on frost than work harder on feral.
@@chrisarena4047 no I agree but when vengeance dh and resto shaman are looking great and balance is def not in a good spot. Feral can fill that spot. But even if they made feral a 3 but spec and was really strong people would still not play feral. It was like survival for so long until the end of shadowlands when it was way too op to not play
I don't think Arcane is hard to play since rework? I've played it on Beta in keys it's very simple in comparison to what it used to be, build charges and dump & hit flashing icons when they pop, it's like a ranged Fury now. Also Frost DK isn't 8.5 ST damage, they have fantastic AoE yes, but their ST is not that high, 7.5 maybe sure. The rest looks about right to guide people for new season yeah. Sad to see they still haven't nerfed Aug further & we're heading for SP, Mage, Aug, VDH etc yet again, they really need to try and shake things up season to season, Aug & SP's PI need sorting out
atleast you have two other mage spec up above everything else. the biggest loser is for sure ret pally. every other class has atleast one dps specc that performs better than ret. ret as the only pally dps specc is the biggest loser
I don’t understand how Marksmanship isn’t a single target god spec. Poor hunter has terrible visuals for beast mastery, and a sniper spec that can’t focus on one target. What happened to their fantasy?
I think Spriest AoE damage is way less than what you valued (8.5 score). For both Archon and Voidweaver. You cannot possibly think that Arcane mage does equal damage in M+ as a Spriest. And survivability, I think a 2.5 or 3 at best.
@@derzerstoerer1 Every arcane on my keys is blasting crazy damage. On a +10 i am around 1.2M dps and they are 1.5 - 1.6. Shadow dps in general is very middle-of-the-pack. I also play as warlock and other Spriests in my keys are low too. I assume because they single-casting Vampiric Touch when we do big pulls, so that lowers their damage?

Because of the huge lag issues with fire mage Blizzard nerfed the spec into ground so it wouldn't be viable.

They are actually a lot better in raid. Their M+ build just doesn't give the same ST output as the Raid one.

Archon SP will outdps an Arcane Mage (overall dmg) in every dungeon where pulls are big, like Necrotic Wake.
He over valued Arcane Mage's AoE DPS. Plus, Arcane is weird and not really a fun spec to play in the first place. Nothing about it is intuitive.
