I really liked the show too but the pacing was too fast. I feel like it would have been much better than it already is if they added more episodes to fully flesh out the characters and the plot. The show really had more potential
Daily Dose of Sunshine is now one of my faves. Every episode made me cry but also warmed my heart. The portrayal of mental health issues was greatly done in this drama.❤
Daily Dose of Sunshine for me was brilliant. Touching a such a taboo subject in Korea was in itself fabulous. Having 3 formal diagnoses of Mental Health, yes at times it did trigger and hit close to home but it shows the reality of the Drama. Mental Health is still touchy subject in any society today. The portrayal of the characters was for me on point. We all have been touched by the effects of mental health either directly or indirectly. Watching this with an open mind and heart will broaden your understand of Mental Health and that those, like me who live with varying mental health everyday crave acceptance and understanding with no judgement.
Bloodhounds being a flop makes no sense to me. Maybe the scandal influenced the viewership in Korea, but worldwide it seemed quite popular. I remember it being in the Top 10 shows here in the U.S. for a bit. I don't think the plot was hard to follow at all even with the adjustments they made because of the scandal. It's definitely one of my favorites of the year. The Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi were exceptional together. Highly recommend it if you like an action packed show.
Daily dose of sunshine is a great and heartwarming drama..but I guess people like cheesy series with cringey leads..park bo young and other actors did excellent Job in portraying their characters..I personally loved the show... it's my one of the best show of 2023 for me❤❤
Just watched Daily Dose of Sunshine and yes the story gets hard to watch when the main character gets depression, but it also was such an amazing show showing us how important mental health is how everyone can face difficulties and overcome them. I think it teaches us a lot. I enjoyed watching it.
Daily dose of sunshine was acually one of the best dramas I’ve ever watched I swear I cried at almost every episode and the whole drama was so meaningful and it had a lot of emotions behind it
As a psychology student we described many diseases patients in our surroundings and most of them are depression, anxiety & phobias. So, kdrama daily dose of sunshine is realit base if our observation behavior skills are good.

Daily dose of sunshine one of the kdramas that's actually great and provides you a quite of knowledge but I do get it why it is said to be flop as kdrama fans just love cheesy kdramas with cringey couples
Hmmmm… Not sure why you didn’t feature strong girl Nam Soon, it maybe did good rating wise but is the worst K-drama I’ve ever watched. The worst part was that all featured actors are good actors but the direction and cinematography was so cringe. Also the dialogues they delivered thinking it’s comedy were the worst. Doona was not a bad drama in any way , not everyone’s cup of tea but it was good. Same goes for bloodhounds. Daily dose of sunshine can be triggering for some people and that’s why I did not even try to watch but it’s got really good reviews.

How was Bloodhounds a flop? It is the second most watched kdrama on Netflix this year. Doona! and Daily Dose of Sunshine are both lovely and interesting dramas in what hasn’t been a particularly vintage year.
I think they’re referring to Bloodhound’s flopping in Korea given their cancel culture and all because in the U.S. it made Netflix’s end of the year list of the top 20 most watched shows of 2023 at #14.
same sentiment. I was hooked by Doona. I binge watched that series in 2 days. So I don't know what these critics are talking about. Th male lead is perfect for the role. No pastry white face girly looking male lead. This is about real life situations. An ordinary college kid and a Kpop star. and some netizens complain he is "ugly". Do they actually think all college kids walking around looking like kpop and kdrama movie stars. sheesh. people really need a dose of reality.
@@kenvo343 I think people didn't liked it because they normally want female idols to be shy, perfect from every angle and that was not being portrayed in this drama moreover some also didn't liked the chubby face of male lead, I personally liked it though
I loved Daily Dose of Sunshine! In fact, I even recommended the show to my friends to watch. The drama also spoke about courage to face your own fears which the actors portrayed very well.
Daily Dose was too real for some Koreans who are struggling with all of this but live in a country where is not allowed to have emotions. It was a fantastic drama. Who's to say what they showed is not what people are going through ?. Just because you don't see what they are seeing, doesn't mean it doesn't exist in their world. As an actress, creator and spiritual being, I connected and now have more compassion for anyone going through things no one can experience but themselves.
Doona is my favorite . I don't get it why peoples said they'r no chemistry. For me the chemistry is over the top. I accept that peoples unsatisfied w/ the ending, but BiG NO for the state that they lack of chemistry. And last, why peoples said we have to thanks suzy for saving this drama? Come on, Sejong also give a big impact. i love this drama bcz of Sejong first. His character is strong and his acting skill is amazing (if U know or done watch all his drama like me. I suggest for watching DUEL series). And then ofc the chemistry of sejong n suzy is insane.
absolutely true. He is perfect for the role. IMO, he did a great job, portraying an innocent and caring individual. and yes, Suzy and him have great chemistry.
For Doona I'm still reading the webtoon and I am enjoying that I can't say much about how it ends since I'm not there yet but I have found alot if shows rush webtoon
Island was decent actually. The story was different and chemistry b/w the main leads was good too..VFX and CGI team has done a great job..Though there were flaws but it is a good watch.. Also instead of Daily dose of sunshine there should be Strong woman Nam soon and King the land..
This is the most accurate list I’ve watch on YT so far. I did finish bloodhounds and Doona. I was confused how Kim sae Ron just disappeared in the story line, though I didn’t know about her incident at the time, I still think the show would’ve been more successful if they kept her involved in the story line and did not cut her scenes short. As for Doona I did think they went with the wrong Male lead from the jump, still liked it tho.
Daily Dose of Sunshine was a valiant effort, especially since it gave some focus to the patients’ caregivers, who are usually neglected. At only 12 episodes, it goes into detail for only a few conditions but it gives a good broader view of the attitudes towards mental health from the perspectives of the patients, doctors, nurses, family, caregivers, colleagues, neighbors, and strangers. It brought up the hidden self-blame and guilt, and how getting/participating in therapy is a good way for some people to prevent a mental health crisis in the first place.
Who made up this list!!!! Heartbeat was quirky, loveable, suspenseful, and funny. Taecyeon and his sidekicks totally handled these roles so well and had me laughing each episode. Daily Dose of Sunshine was epic, and broke some barriers by taking on mental health. They handled the subject matter with grace, dignity, and it was very informative. I understand it probably made a lot feel uncomfortable, but it was a very necessary and heart warming show. Especially in times like these where it's becoming harder and harder for people to keep up with the demands of managing daily life, finances, work loads, school, and life. They had a short time to pack in a lot of information and did it amazingly well. Bloodhounds was also good. I agree, the story line was a bit choppy, however to get to see both male leads handsome faces, good acting, and action scenes each episode was enough for me. It was only 8 episodes and it would have been much better for the storyline if they did 12 or 16 episodes. I didn't even notice Kim Se Ron started loosing air time in the show because she was over shadowed by all the other performers great performances. Haven't seen the other two shows, but they are on my watch list.
Lol whoever hates doona always want a female lead as shy, cute and flawless character, the moment they see a female lead with trauma or with flaws they start to hate it for no reason. Also not every drama has to have a good and cute ending people 😂😂
From what I see a lot of people is confuse about the story, too many unrealistic scene not relatable, same the girl will go assertive at the start and end no development at all.

In Bloodhounds they should not have minimized her role because people need to understand it's unfair to the rest of the actors and all the people who work in the series. they should've just not hired her int he future if they were so pressed. This led to the story being disjointed and it really lost quality because her chemistry with the male leads was really good and she was a very interesting character
I think that daily dose of sunshine was a good K-drama overall, but I found the show very sad and felt that the characters had sad stories. In my opinion I think that South Korea should focus on more of the mental health issues and the stigma surrounding it, because you never know what people are going through or feeling like. They should also focus on the celebrities mental health as well, because many of them get hate for example, Jennie from Blackpink got hate for being a lazy dancer a couple of years ago.
Heartbeat: 'They don't know what a vampire is.' Daily Does of Sunshine: When its goals seems to be to teach aka preach instead of entertain then it's going to fail.
I thought Doona was good and both actors did well. I really liked the male lead and his acting. I guess I just don’t get why it’s being criticized. I’m waiting for a season.
most negative comments were mostly about his look. stupid criticism. I think kdrama fans expect movie star looking character. The character is a dedicated college kid, not some rich kids spending mommy and daddy money. I think he did a very convincing job and he even manages to shine next to Suzy.
I love King of the Land but was very disappointed with the last epsiode. Felt like a setback. I was also disappointed with Strong Girl.Nam Soon. It had so much potential with it great cast and interesting villain , however the plot lines where long winded and often overshadowed the main character who the show is supposed to be about.
Eh I don’t think Bloodhounds is a flop.. at least in my country, it stayed at number 1 spot and in top 10 for weeks!! And Daily dose of Sunshine is a fantastic drama❤
I've watched all these dramas and I extremely, ultimately, and cannot stressed enough that all these dramas are a hit and not a flop. Especially Bloodhounds, Heartbeat and Daily Dose of Sunshine.
I enjoyed watching Strangers Again and I can tell you the chemistry is definitely there that I root for them to have a happy ending despite their differences. But I have to agree, the open ending left me disappointed and felt empty...
oh come on bloodhounds WAS NOT A FLOP I personally didn't care about the actress removal , everything was perfect , same for "Daily dose of sunshine " for me it was one of the best Kdrama
Strangers again, I didnt watch this drama, but why is it a flop if they watched it until the end? Would it not be just considered as a disappointing ending? 🤔
I’d say Strong Girl Nam Soon wasn’t as good as expected. It wasn’t a flop and I didn’t mind it, but definitely not as good as Bong Soon and I read many viewers dropped it.
A Time Called You, not included in this list, is so biased. LOL, it was one of the most anticipated K-dramas from Netflix's original content lineup of 2023, and it turned out to be a flop in all aspects-ratings and messy storytelling.
Blood hounds? Really 😅 It's one of the best Kdrama in 2023 with rating of 8.1/10 (10K+ user rating) Rotten Tomatoes rating - 86%. This video is a joke 😅
If we are talking about controversial dramas I am surprised Destined with You is not on this list maybe K netz loved it but its rather controversial internationally...
because its terrible.. so many disliked it for many reasons the fl as a character the chemistry between the two.. its hella overrated@@skzstaybtsbulletprooftoget3693
People saying doona is a flop cuz of the “confusing ending” seriously lack media literacy, there are hints throughout that they are together in a secret relationship because guess what doona being an idol can’t be seen as being in one which we learn in the whole show… also doona was top 10 on netflix for weeks on end
Lately many kdrama are repeating stories so boring, even the creamy faces and super filtered are boring to look at them no depth in stories. Deceptive and please keep your natural color you are not Snow White
Kdrama should only be considered a flop because of poor or declining viewership and poor ratings, not because 1-2 comments saying oh it is good but could be better, while still giving it 7/10.
Heartbeat started strong and then just fizzled...not enough Vampire shenanigans which made it funny. The WORST was Strong girl!!! ALSO Sung Hoons acting in Perfect Marriage Revenge was just awfullllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A popular one that I thought was terrible was Strong Girl Nam Soon. It didn't have the same cuteness, sorry but the FL was a bit irritating and the supposed ML wasn't that present. The show was more about the mom and even the grandma seemed to have more screen time than the leads. The ending madebit seem that another season would be happening but I wont be watching 😕
lets not blame the fl for the flop of heartbeat, it might be her first but honestly she is fun to watch, what made heart unbearable to watch for me, is how low budget it was, man the concept is vampire, vampires are known to be rich, and you made him poor!? another thing that killed it, is the location of the house, its freaking old vampire that live for a hundreds of years and you only got an apartment size building as his mansion? really? and what you made it into a meanie hotel? i was so disappointed when i found out where his home is, and another thing, you know its a low budget since they only got two actors that played as a customer in there hotel for what, 3 episodes? and man the cgi sucks so bad, it was so unbearable to watch, and what else wrong with it, they literally did a hotel deluna ending, where the ml died, and for what? just by not drinking the blood of the girl she love! and just to be clear the ending was horrible and i wasnt even sad at all, i felt like thank god it ended it was a relief, another thing the ml also was unbearable to watch, i watch a lot of romcom and his been doing romcom longer than, roowon but man his suck at romance, especially the scene with the fl he really sucks there, roowon and him are both idols, but compare to roowon that not so long ago entered the romcom genre i think he has much better future than this guy that been doing it for so long, i watch his other kdrama romcom, and i dropped all of it, his so hard to watch his fine doing comedic scene but when it comes to romance he sucks i dont see the that his inlove with the fl in his kdrama its just felt like his just acting and i dont feel any chemistry, try watching his other kdrama you will know this guy has rhe face of a romcom actor but you need to remove the romance on it, the only reason i finish heartbeat is because of fl, i find her beautiful and she has some resemblance to bae suzi, i know she is not yet good when it comes tk acting but still she did a good job on this, but all in all heartbeat failed, because of its location and the ML, man the location was so bad, they should check hotel deluna and get some pointers on that kdrama
MISS-K-DRAMA RUclips post are baseless and she EXAGGERATES TOO MUCH IN HERE OPINION. Too much garbage in RUclips that needs to be deleted. This one included
I dont agree with this none of dramas are flop butt i m sorryy i dont like the storyline of Doona in my opinion all characters were good buttt storyline is not that impressive i guess
Bloodhounds was awful, and a great example of how a culture's aversion to lethal violence (even when protecting family) lets bad guys kill over and over with impunity. And the heroes retaliating with non-lethal force and even calling for emergency medical care for a killer made me groan loudly. Doona was an abomination of standard K Drama tropes. Like my IMDB review said: "it is like the show was written for Celebrities, instead of average fans and casual viewers".

Doona is my favourite ❤
The drama is different not flop 😢
It was completely different drama and story that’s why some people don’t understand it ❤
I liked Doona.
I think majority hated the series because of the ending
I enjoyed watching Strangers Again and I can tell you the chemistry is definitely there that I root for them to have a happy ending despite their differences. But I have to agree, the open ending left me disappointed and felt empty...
oh come on bloodhounds WAS NOT A FLOP I personally didn't care about the actress removal , everything was perfect , same for "Daily dose of sunshine " for me it was one of the best Kdrama
Daily dose sunshine is a great drama indeed park bo young won a award as best actress in baeksang award
Strangers again, I didnt watch this drama, but why is it a flop if they watched it until the end? Would it not be just considered as a disappointing ending? 🤔
Daily dose of sunshine is one of the best drama. It highlights how important mental health is and also shows the stigma about the topic in the society
Daily dose of sunshine. Has my heart and soul. One of the best❤❤❤ ones i have ever seen
Great list all dramas are really disappointed and boring
I’d say Strong Girl Nam Soon wasn’t as good as expected. It wasn’t a flop and I didn’t mind it, but definitely not as good as Bong Soon and I read many viewers dropped it.
I like doona drama❤
The heck..bloodhounds was an absolute hit..i became obessed with every part of the show!! IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING
A Time Called You, not included in this list, is so biased. LOL, it was one of the most anticipated K-dramas from Netflix's original content lineup of 2023, and it turned out to be a flop in all aspects-ratings and messy storytelling.
Everytime i tried so hard to watch to understand, I will fall asleep
Doona is goated
I personally loved island
Daily Dose of Sunshine and Bloodhounds are awesome…
dramas getting hate because the leads don't end up together irks me so bad
Blood hounds? Really 😅 It's one of the best Kdrama in 2023 with rating of 8.1/10 (10K+ user rating) Rotten Tomatoes rating - 86%. This video is a joke 😅
If we are talking about controversial dramas I am surprised Destined with You is not on this list maybe K netz loved it but its rather controversial internationally...
terrible drama
how it is controversial ?
because its terrible.. so many disliked it for many reasons the fl as a character the chemistry between the two.. its hella overrated@@skzstaybtsbulletprooftoget3693
Daily dose of sunshine is good drama
I thought daily dose of sunshine was great!
Bloodhound was best
I also loved bloodhounds
I enjoyed it too
I totally agree with this video. I drop every drama mentioned here.
Some of the featured series are obviously hot takes. Click baity... 🤦🏻♂️
Alot of the Kdramas lack chemistry between the leads and they are similar tropes in all of them. The plots lack depth and are predictable.
Also loved heartbeat and the lead actress
Sometimes you get disappointed
fact
Daily Dose of sSnshine and Bloodhound are great, the best kdramas in 2023..
daily dose of sunshine is absolutely brilliant and lovely. its a piece of art
I lved watching Daily Dose of Sunshine...it was well scripted and executed in very good manner
For Doona, it is very romantic in my opinion but for the last episode I think u need to do some research to understand it.
I never even heard of nokdu 😂😭
i likeed doona and daily dose of sunshine🤔
Doona lacked chemistry and had an inconclusive ending and when that came out people gave it up bc they knew the ending wasn't good.
Island is best among the flop I think is lock of promotion
What?!!! Bloodhounds was brilliant! And very popular on Netflix!
I dont agree with this none of dramas are flop butt i m sorryy i dont like the storyline of Doona in my opinion all characters were good buttt storyline is not that impressive i guess
Tough pill to swallow for some but there is no lies here.
I'll admit the ending of Bloodhounds felt off with the removal of the lead actress. Other than that, I enjoyed the series. I thought it was great.
I don’t agree regarding Bloodhounds. That drama was awesome! I loved it!!
I can't agree with bloodhound, it many not have been the most popular it definitely did well with good viewership
Loved bloodhounds ❤
