I really do love the way the stone wall follows the terrain levels. Render Cube really have put a lot of thought into the game, like even down to pine cones on the forest floors by the pine trees for example.
There is a new house at the hunter place seems Alwin build a house at least. And about the Palissade build them in small sections that way when u whanne move some to build a new building u dont have to destroy half the enclosure
I know your pain mate, when I started to work on my palisade I quickly realized it won't work as i would want it to... So I ended up rebuilding my town in different location with palisade, fences and roads all planned out.
you know, I think I may do this.. using the free build slots to move my town one building at a time. I wish I knew what to expect with bandits, because I love my town how it is right now, but it's got water on 3 sides, making barriers impossible. Maybe I'll just wait. ugh.
@@Daiska_Plays I took me something around 2 and a half years to move whole 29 buildings, and I ended up having 28 now somehow :P As it goes for the bandits, I have same thoughts, but even strong palisade will do nothing against them if we don't get proper gates to build
errm in my game, before alwin moved out there, there was only one building there.. in your game i am seeing two buildings.. i am going to have to go back out there and check that out.. but if there are two buildings i am thinking he DID move out there.. but also i was told after he "moves out there" thats the end of any further quests from him anyway
Yeah, I'm guessing trying to remember everything about the game and remembering to keep things interesting while recording isn't easy. He's got so much to think about while recording its probably easy to forget things like that. I'd probably forget and miss all kinds of things if i was recording while trying to play.
Hi, 1 thing makes me crazy when i see u crafting or daubing is your own inventory. plz drop everything in your storage except your tool and carry more materials. trust me you'll save a lot amount of your time by simply winning 3or 4 kg per travel between the storage and your building in progress. At the end, if you think about it you save 10% of your carrying power (40kg max) each travel. when you have finished u just recover your stuff and do what u wanna do ^^.
agree with moving stuff being a pain.. I'm the same as you with iron, I don't want it in resource storage. What would be a nice change, is not peons moving it, but being able to right click a stack and getting a drop down for "move to" then after choosing, a slider for amount. I got tired of vegetables, always too many. I made a 2X4 of cabbage, and a 1X2 yard garden for homes with the other veggies. It's plenty, lol. Also, in alpha, which is pretty much the same as beta now, any food I put on the ground disappears the next season. Non food stays forever still.
As you're applying daub to your houses, you should check your firewood output in your woodcutter's shed vs your town's need. This will let your woodcutters produce more logs and planks. Also, your farmers will get straw from wheat, oat, and rye when you have them craft the grains. Or you can do it your self and sell the grain. 1000 wheat grain sells for about 3 each and only weighs a couple kg. flax grain is worth twice as much. My 1 test of dropping cabbage, it just disappeared. RIP.
When your building in any season but winter put everything in a chest that is on you and pick it up after you build or upgrade that way you can carry more logs, sticks. Rocks, daub and everything else
Alwin goes only after mission X work indef. with the hunter, if you did not finish the 10th mission yet he is probably back in the first town, as he did not like to hunt! And you still have to finish his quests.
The 1.1/h means 1.1 stacks of iron arrows per hour - so since each stack is 50 arrows, they are making 55 arrows per hour (which is the 55 you see in the second tab)
I sell all my extra cabbage and all the fish, granted I have to strip down to carry a decent amount, once I cleared my food chest of excess it is easier to keep up with it all. Usually I have so much potage I sell that too right before it goes bad. I want all the monies. I like beetroot and meat for food. I think its soup?
Drinking the bucket of milk til its empty gives you an empty bucket you can then fill with water/milk(again) saving you money/crafting resources from making them
I have not watched all of your episodes yet. I am on 31 I think. You were talking about you wish you could tell them where to put stuff. I was reading somewhere that if you assign a work to resource storage (research storage. Lol) and food storage they are suppose to put things in there where they go. Is this true? I do not know was going to try it last night at my village but got a fatle error then all my save files got corrupt had to start from day 1.
might seem like a waste of time to fish and hunt but at the end of it, whatever you dont use, whether you cook the fish or just eat it you can always sell the left overs or just sell the batch ...coin is coin imo and what you dont use can be sold with out having to craft anything
I usually go to the item chest and throw out the stones in about 20 stone lots.. they stay forever and its the right amount to pick up. Same with daub... five minutes spent sorting it out, and then its just run and grab a pile... Oh and the wool and thread? have a level two seamster working on just wool thread and fabric, then your third level making stuff.
i usually make daub and crafting stuff over night.. then i go and upgrade houses in the middle of the night... image the villagers.. my asshole landlord was up all night running around my house pounding on the walls with a hammer and when i woke up my walls were all white... weird...

Lamp oil would be an awsome way to make fish usefull. Then the light levels at night could effect villager happiness. Youd have to fish and craft lamp oil to keep villager lamps on at night.

Agree with you on the food idea. I would expect the people to gain a certain level of happiness based on the variety of food available to them.
What they could use is the nutritional requirements of the people.... and happy villagers.
It needs a maintenance shed so they can repair houses for you.

how many game hours is a day/ season ? I'm curious to know
3 in game days is one season. I'm not sure exactly how long a day lasts as I've never set a timer but it feels about 20 minutes for each day.
When you wake up try to sleep again, then you see the minutes its taking to wait until 7pm, then do The math
Nobody:
Me: Im going to smear mud and straw on my walls before winter.
Could make it so different people have different fav meals. So you have to make all types of food to keep everyone happy
