The test leads do have plastic covers on them that you can pop off, to have an extended probe. They can be kind of tight on there. They "snap" or "click" in place.
I have used a cheap w2970 performance tool multimeter for years to balance cells on an electric skateboard battery. I finally dropped it on tile and the led became garbled. I really like the protective blue cover on the cm300! I forgot how much better a multimeter looks when the probes are coiled and snuggly in place!
are you saying that 2 AAA batteries are not as good as a 9v ? Is that because 2x1.5 = only 3 v ? would you say that if it was 6x1.5 it would be as good as a 9v ?
I got an Amazon multimeter (~$20) about 5-6 years ago..the thing's been great... It's the B Side ADM08A...yes gibberish...😅.. It's a trooper though..never a problem..fast report..I bought better leads from Bionso...but the ones that came with the unit weren't terrible...fwiw...
I think this guy just likes to hear himself talk. Do yourself a favor find another video for this product. It's 30 minutes long and explains pretty much nothing
You must be new here. There are time stamps for your convenience. That said, you probably won't like my style so you can save time by just skipping over everything I crank out.
Who wants to sit here for half an hour and not hear some basics of how it works ?
I do. I just bought one and needed to use it to diagnose a dryer.
Right

I got mine for Audible continuity, too.
