I've lowered the volume dB myself, but I'm sorry if the sound bothered you. Thanks for your interest.👍 I hope it will be helpful to those who watch this video even a little. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but an SCR voltage regulator is dropping the voltage, but since the motor is expecting normal voltage, it will try to up the amperage to compensate, which can lead to early failure of the motor from excessive heat due to the excessive amperage. I though you were supposed to use a PWM speed controller for motors, which keeps the voltage constant.
Hearing your story, it sounds like you're right. I'm sorry I can't give you an accurate answer because it's not my area of expertise. But I'm still using it as an SCR controller and haven't had any problems so far. Thank you.
@@TreeAnWood Absolutely. I'm pretty good with printing and etching my own circuits, but I mostly deal with guitar and audio effects (strictly signal stuff, not AC-powered builds). Can you point me to a proper schematic for this project?
This circuit was not made by myself, but was implemented by purchasing a module. So I don't have the schematic. ➤ SCR Voltage Regulator (AC 220V 2000W) www.aliexpress.com/item/4001118971797.html?spm I'm really sorry for not helping.
@@TreeAnWood Oh, not at all. You just helped me a lot. Now I can either buy the US version if there is one, or reverse-engineer it for 120V AC input. So, thank you once again :)

도면 나눔 잘 받았습니다!
엄청 바쁘실털데 챙겨주셨네요ㅎㅎ
죽이되든 밥이되든 도전해보겠습니다!
생쌀보단 낫겠죠?ㅋ

Cool. I've been thinking about building one of these, mostly for my router.
That's a good idea. :)
It is really easy to make and I think it will be useful.

It is a product that can input 110V.
Please refer to it~

Thank you.
I like your design, could you tell me what circuit did you use in order to control speed, thanks
