RKLB now has $500 million in cash for acquisitions and Neutron dev, which is fantastic, but it's still scary cuz when dilution happens, the stock will probably stop climbing and maybe sink to an all-time low. This is debt after all, right? Anyways, if i'm wrong, let me know. I'm happy to learn.

When you look at the people on their board of directors you can really feel that there is a definite intention of making Rocket Lab a stable future player in government contracts.
Just looked at the RL share price. $5.50? Was there news?
The current SP is pretty much the same as it was on 1 Feb when there was an enormous number of short purchases, taking the stock from the range 7- 8% shorted up to 16 - 20% range. It's currently at around 18%, which means there's likely an awful lot of shorts that will need to be covered soon if the SP keeps going up.
Good stuff. Thanks for digging up this detail, Dave. Would be nice to know where in that list of steps (cryogenics testing, primes, etc) the ignition test fits in. Anyway, it's very exciting that we're so close to the hot fire, and as you point out, the stock price has now recovered and those of us who added in the 3s and 4s are now in a happier situation. Beck does not build s*** .

Griffen sold all his shares of RKLB and also turned down an offer to be on SpaceXs board when that company was first starting out.
Good guy on to have inside the beltway but wouldn't follow his investment decisions

Not all, but he's sold a lot. We don't know his personal finance situation, and remember Beck himself sold like 6x that value in stock last year as well (reportedly to start a foundation). I'd consider it a yellow flag considering he's positioning the company to win billions in contracts

Instead he became NASA admin under which SpaceX won their first massive CRS contract, which Elon himself admits saved the company from bankruptcy. Arguably had a far bigger impact there than if he had sat on the board, especially when they were still in early R&D phase with Falcon 1

@@paulcarter7445 I've seen filings where's he sold through that account (Logiq). He does receive RSUs fairly regularly though, so if he ever *doesn't* sell, that'd be interesting... Man is like 74 though so not sure how much of long term type of guy he is 😅
