    Great video! My takeaway: RL has great potential for future growth, but won't be an overnight process which means the difference between a P/S of 5 or 3 today won't matter 5 years from now. Therefore, the best thing to do is to accumulate shares calmly but steadily over the next year or two until the RL vision becomes reality and the market wakes up to it a few years from now.

    The one thought that stands out from the recent Pater Beck interviews is that the goal is Space as a Service. Thats a more all encompassing ambition than I've heard from any of the other space companies.

      Beck knows where the money is. He sees how much of revenue comes from the end user services, as opposed to just launching. But of course launch is the bottleneck to everything is launch, so having your own rocket is a huge win.

    Great vid Dave, completely agreed - and this isn't even getting into space applications which we all know has the potential to be the real free cash flow generator!
    Aspiring rocket pure plays are going to have an insanely difficult time competing with RKLB once their full end-to-end ambition is realized, since they'll likely be able to accept lower margins on launch if it means bundling in with higher margin satellite design/build/operation/data relay services.

    I definitely agree that analysts are asleep at the wheel. Other than retail investors, few have taken a deep dive into and discovered the true potential of RKLB. Which for the time being is great news for us retail investors. It gives us the time and opportunity to load up on as many shares as possible at a very favourable entry price. Thanks for the content, between you, Vince, Matt and Scott, I only get more bullish in the long term potential.

    We build other spacecraft, satellites, reaction wheels, medium launch capacity coming soon, state of the art solar panels, fully integrated company. And the revenue is ramping up. This company is a steal at the current price.

    Room to grow indeed. Looking way out into the future, off-world industry will dwarf earth-based industry - There's so much space! So the addressable market is ultimately limitless, and the barrier to entry is very high. It's exciting to watch Rocket Lab, they have an amazing future.

    Thx for the video. Indeed PB wants to be the number 1 in space industry. I'm glad poeple don't see it yet .... cheap price to buy. I can give you differend examples but 1 is... RKLB has the only privat launch site in the world, they have New Zeeland so they can launch without restrictions. And can launch with both sites at a MINIMUM of 1 lauch every 72 hours.

    It's possible that Wall Street are backing simpler industries. 'Space is hard'. I like a vision but Wall Street needs results. Financial experts are not gurus. These space guys know their industry well. I think at some point they will be saying, 'I told you so '. Wall Street do not have the luxury of backing whoever they want. What an incredible journey to follow.

    Look at it from the satellite side, plenty of them make lots of there own components planet, Kuiper, starlink, ect...Lots of space systems companies out there (private) that can be merged with a rocket company when the time is right. It is a new dynamic, innovative, industry with lots of growth ahead.

    I think one of the major issues with rocket labs valuation compared to these private companies is that the company raises money through issuing shares, and with no positive cash flow in near future they will continue to dilute the stock. So even if the value of rocket lab is worth double what the stock market cap is indicating, with the high level of dillution, the amount of shares outstanding at the moment is not representative of the amount of shares when the company finally has positive cash flow (when owning a share is actually returning value, instead of draining it)

  • @staticgrass
    @staticgrass 3 месяца назад +1

    Rocket Lab is a vertically integrated space launch and systems company. If you look at the big launch providers and space systems companies they tend to top out around $100B in market cap. If Sir Peter think he can reach that goal that would be amazing. There are two forces in his favour RL is vertically integrated and the industry as a whole will grow over the next 20 years. Remember when hugely ambitious strategic thinkers set goals, they are not setting limits. People get really surprised about this, Caesar didn't conquer Britannia to become governor of it, he did it to become emperor of Rome.

    I can imagine that SpaceX out competing Raytheon rather than the claim that it’s Rocketlab who did it. Am I missing something?

  • @Wrangler-fp4ei
    @Wrangler-fp4ei 3 месяца назад

    Problem is Raytheon isn't really same company it once was. It was taken over twice by other companies, including this umbrella corp United Technologies Corporation. They basically took them over, didn't bother making anything new or develop anything products. Thus why their going down, since former UTC who controls them is there just make money, not innovate or make new products.

    I'm concerned that rocket lab won't be able to do any national security launches which could seriously hamper their ability to get those lucrative contracts. While Terran R should be able to do those. New Glenn and Vulcan definitely can do them.

    • @HeyPumpkin

      If you mean NSSL, then as long as Neutron flies they definitely will, because Rocket Lab are a big reason why NSSL phase 3 lane 1 got created in the first place. Also, Rocket Lab _already_ launches national security missions, they've launched for the NRO five times.

    • @daveginvesting

    Well, we have a mixed audience here of retail shareholders in Space stocks, like me, and Space enthusiasts that are not in the stock market. And we're listening to a message that mixes up Space Services companies with LAUNCH companies like they are the same thing. Some on both sides, in the market, or not, might be happy with Space Services, and those like me, who are into LAUNCH baby LAUNCH, who find Space Services interesting but BORING! But worth holding onto RKLB for, UP at 76% of revenue last call. And finding Rocket Lab more BORING by the quarter, with LAUNCH revenue of their pioneering ELECTRON rocket DOWN to 24% of revenue. A fine little rocket, helping out best it can, at a few potato bags worth, 300 kg LEO, at an average of $10 million per launch.
    Oh, NEUTRON you say? That beautiful, elegant medium-lift rocket? 13,000 kg LEO? Promised to bring in $60 million per launch?! Where? Anyone seen one? All I hear is, "We" DID NOT "do what we said we're going to do." Comeback next year.
    And now here is FIREFLY, ALPHA rocket, small lift, 1030 kg LEO, an ELECTRON killer. Already having flown 4 times. Yes, ALPHA 1 did reach the high atmosphere on a demo , then 1 of 4 REAVER engines went out, forcing a ground controlled detonation. And yes, ALPHA 2 and 4, did reach orbit, and the 2nd stage did insert the client's vehicles in less than accurate orbits, but corrections were able to be made. But ALPHA 3 was a gem! A complete success for client USSF, doing a RAPID RESPONSE launch. More ALPHA launches are booked the rest of 2024, into 2025. Maiming ELECTRON gently. See NEXT SPACEFLIGHT.
    But now! Here comes FIREFLY, medium-lift 16,000 kg LEO, ANTARES 330 MLV, with 7x MIRANDA engines, already hot firing, and the ANTARES 1st Stage already erected on the pad in Texas at FIREFLY's "Rocket Ranch". A NEUTRON killer that will beat NEUTRON to orbit in 2025, and be first to grab LANE 2 US Gov. contracts. Yes, FIREFLY is not public. But watch for an IPO in 2024. I'll be all in!
    Should I dare to say what to do with NEUTRON? Here goes. Do like FIREFLY with ALPHA and ANTARES MLV. Forget USABILITY. Make a totally DISPOSABLE NEUTRON with DISPOSABLE versions of of ARCHIMEDES. Get HER DONE! Grab those $60 millions per launch, then go for that Starlink KILLER CONSTELLATION.

    • @TranOfficial
      @TranOfficial 3 месяца назад

      There is no "Starlink Killer Constellation" without a reusable LV. There is no hockey stick revenue/cash flow growth without space systems & applications in-house. Nice try though!
