Thank you for taking me on your travels. I can no longer travel and really enjoy your videos. You do exactly what I would do, drive through small towns and explore abandoned buildings. I would also include old cemeteries. Great videos.
Hi 5wheels, I have learned to "stop and smell the roses" so to speak in these neat places. I used to just fly on by and never paid attention to the history. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week!
Thanks for the fun travel video. You like the same sort of travel as I do.....small roads thru small towns, stopping at all the interesting abandoned places. I often stop too much too and just make it to my camp spot before dark 😂. LOVED that gas station with the arches....I put it on my "must" see list!
Hi Jane, I am really enjoying getting out and finding these places to share. I often go out and don't know exactly where I am staying for the night, Sometimes it adds a little stress😄. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
Hey randy really enjoyed your vid. Know most of the area well as im a native new mexican (las cruces) did a bunch of work around lordsburg playas ,hachita rippin in fiber optic lines. thought it was quite a coincidence you stayed at the koa in lc, i knew the people that owned that, millers, went to high school with the daughter christy. I bought. An old 29 ford body from her brother eddie, that ild body was like a landmark been there for as many years as i can remember, it turned into a roundy round racer ! I bought that old body from eddie back in the early seventies. Say hi if any of them are still there. got a younger brother that lives by brownsville tx he visits padre when he can, hope you have an enjoyable trip ill be waitin on that vid thank you sir and thankyou for your service!😊
Hi Allen, It was a nice stay at the KOA. We got a little bit of a haboob that evening but overall it was pleasurable. That area of NM has so much history and I really enjoyed the Shakespeare ghost town. Thanks for sharing some of your history as well. Have a wonderful week and we'll see ya on the next one!
I jumped offshore a few times from Padre' Island, I was coming from the east so my views were different than yours...... Excellent trip so far...... I know you're back home now but just a heads up, we have a bad ferel hog problem in the south, they are aggressive and don't ever put yourself between a sow and her piglets because she will attack you..... See you next week
Thanks for the heads up Kajunguy. I had a feeling that's what they were. I try to stay away from the animals when I can. I know they can be dangerous. Thanks for sharing and we'll see ya on the next one!

Hi Randy, you're welcome. Have a great week!
Lol, as you are leaving, the shadow of your truck reminded me of Shrek’s head and ears. I know, I have a weird imagination. 😂
Hi D, That's funny😆. I notice the shadow sometimes, but now I'm gonna see Shrek all the time.
Thanks for sharing have a great week!
How those two screen doors were placed on that one old house is unusual.
