The Most Underrated Ski Resort in Canada - APEX Mountain

  • Apex Mountain Ski Resort is an undercover heavy hitter. If you like smashing steep vertical all day long or carving hard on perfect groomers, this mountain will be your paradise. Apex is located 30 minutes from Penticton BC and has some of the best snow and nicest people in the province. It’s got the perfect mix of precipitation and low humidity which makes for light champagne powder all season long. It’s serviced by two chairs, one of which is a high speed quad, the Quickdraw chair which reminded me a lot of the Stoke chair in Revelstoke. To be honest, since you spend most of your time on one chair at Revy anyways, I much preferred Apex to Revelstoke, although that might be an unpopular opinion. I lucked out and met some amazing local skiers who shredded with me all day long and led me into the goods. Apex Mountain Resort stole my heart. I can’t wait for my next trip into the Okanagan!
