This is great! I’ve been binging these basic anatomy videos and everybody says to just “simplify the body into shapes” but nobody went into the detail of what the shapes actually were. The drawing and the voice over each helped get it simplified into something very easily understandable

Girl, I near burst into tears at 1:34 when you notated that line across the chest adding that it does nothing and you don't know why you added it! XD That's gotta be the most mysterious contour in figure drawing to me! Know one ever says specifically what it is or what is highlights. Even I draw it at this point after all the tutorials and I still can't give you a straight answer.
Honestly though, sometimes I think putting a line across the upper torso CAN be a great way to sort of plot out where maybe the base of the pectoral muscles are. I feel like that's where it's closest to a lot of the time.
And thank you so much for the tutorials. They are so helpful!

Yooo... I've noticed something interesting, After watching so many drawing tutorials with good video editing (I mean music and effects) I haven't been able to learn anything, but with this one the opposite happened... I was able to focus more on the information without being distracted by a looping song and video effects!! Btw, you have a new subscriber ✍️🔥

Thank you! Ooh thats interesting, I started to add music to some of my recent videos cuz i worried any silence would be kind of awkward (plus it hides my noisy computer fan) do you think its more distracting?

@@Shanspirational I think what's best for your channel is what you want to do with it because it's yours... But if you allow me to give you a little advice, it would be to play music at a volume that does not manage to divert attention from all the super important information that you are giving us. I think that by taking care of that detail, the music would take a second or third place of importance! Anyway, let me thank you again for explaining so clearly this complex BUT wonderful world of drawing! 🙌✏️

This has been so helpful! Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart I offer this heartfelt thanks for making this tutorial. It’s finally gotten me into drawing and simplifies what would be a complex topic into something so easy. I’ve started sketching a few in my notebook and it’s beginning to look good! Again, thank you so much!!!

My ADHD thanks you. This made beginner art actually feel like it was for beginners 😭😭😭 I normally get so intimated by art tutorials but wanted to learn so badly! This made it easy to follow along and provide guidelines that I understood!
