    There's a funky little town down in the Southwestern USA.
    Hidden in the Mule Mountains
    It's a desert oasis, right on the Mexico line.
    It's little bit of Rockwell, a little bit of Pollack;
    It's a land out of time.
    She earned a fortune on copper, she was built on the backs of man.
    They were digging and drilling and blasting without end.
    Those guys moved a mountain, helping America grow.
    (but then), the machines topped moving, the mines grew silent; life was put on hold.
    Chorus:
    Bisbee, Arizona where we're living life easy and free.
    It's a little bit of heaven and there's no place I'd rather be.
    Bisbee, Arizona, you've got some kind of hold on me.
    You're a quirky little place but that's all right with me.
    The Copper Queen gave up her crown back in '75
    Left everybody guessing how the town would survive.
    Then along came some long hairs, with their bohemian ways.
    Everyone of them an artist, everyone a guru, just trying to get away.
    So we traded up the Caterpillars for Winnebago RV's,
    Gave up hard-tack and beans for cappuncino and French cuisine.
    We're a tourist destination, a vacation getaway,
    But we've got a little secret and I think we should keep it;
    We're on vacation every day.
    Repeat Chorus:
    We're a baffling little place, can't make up our minds what we're all about.
    We've got the rest of Arizona always tying to figure us out.
    And we're truly multicultural; we pull 'em from far and near.
    You hear people speaking Spanish, people speak English,
    but it's mostly Spanglish 'round here.
    It's a Saturday night, I'm gonna' get myself uptown.
    I hear buzz is at St. Elmo's trying to bring the house down.
    It's a pretty rough crowd, (you know), they try to keep the riffraff in.
    They're got grizzled old bikers and grumpy old hippies,
    And everything in between.
    Repeat Chorus:
