If you watch the first episode again.... You'll see Eren says to Mikasa countless times "don't tell my dad" "why did you tell my parents?" Mikasa says to eren in episode 2 "your mother wouldn't want you die like this" So they're not siblings.... People always get confused at this.... But they don't even see each other as siblings. Why they live together? You'll know later
BTW I would suggest you read at least the first chapter of the Manga and watch the first episode again after you finish season 2 or 3 Cuz there is very important detail within eren's dream In the Manga when he woke up He says "Mikasa?.... Where am I?.... When did your hair grew so long? I felt like I was having really long dream.... What was it?.... I can't remember now" Later in episode 3... He tells Mikasa to cut her hair Keep that in mind to avoid future confusion when biggest plot twist is dropped
