A nice surprise for you, you should dig around in Logic some more. I was thinking it sounded a bit vocoder-y. Cheers Doug.
I am starting to dig around more, some very good stuff in Logic, more to come.
One thing I like to do when I've drum samples with a lot of resonance on them is use FAC's Transient to get rid of all of that messy booming and ringing from the mix, then add whatever I need back in with reverb, compression and delay.
