Wow--thanks for these. It's been a blast to come back to modding Skyrim after some time and this has been the perfect guide from start to finish. I am currently helping a fresh to death friend mod Skyrim for his first time, and these have made it a fun, but great learning experience for him and myself. Keep it up. Would love to see perhaps an aside about how to manage the different Instances for the different mod layouts. And as always, a perfect time for a brew (some mead, . . . .).
You're very welcome! appreciate your support thank you it means the world to me. I will make a note of instances for sure :) perfect time as always! ;) enjoy!
Can anyone help me with this problem I have? It says that it failed to locate an appropriate address library with the path: Data/SKSE/Plugins/versionlib-1-6-1170-0 bin
Thank you so much for your tutorial, it has been a blessing as all this may seem rather simple but it is not obvious or intuitive at all for someone with no experience. If you are going to continue the series, I would like to see you try some mods that I personally had problems and conflicts with, like Relationship Dialogue Overhaul along with AI Overhaul. Also a section for performance improvements, which are most likely going to be needed for the majority of players considering the amounts of tinkering we are doing lol. Thank you again and I look forward to your nexdt updates!
thank you for your support! Im glad youre enjoying the series so far. Plenty more to come but all must be tested to work with the latest game version so there may be some limitations there. But we will see!
i followd the guide from the first video onwards and now i have a problem with the address library for skse plugins whenever i try starting the game i get a pop up saying DLL plugins you have installed require a new version of the addresslibrary.Either this is a new install,or skyrimwas just updated. visit the address library webpage for updates? i also have three folders in my overwrite called meshes nemesis_engnine and scripts.they appeared there when i updated and launched the nemesis engine after getting the animation for better movement in episode 6. ive never modded skyrim so idk if i just made a dumb mistake or what happend if anyone knows could help me with this it would be greatly appreiciated
@@shermanator1232 I can't remember exactly as it was a while back but ik I had to install a different version of one of the mods I think it was the skse one and then I had to that there update thingy on the skse library or whatever it was called and then it worked
For those curious, I had been modding on my own and installed SSE Engine Fixes among other mods. When booting up the game, I found out that none of my mods worked. To not get too technical (especially since I'm not too terribly sure what the root problem is), an issue between the recent Skyrim update(s) and SSE Engine Fixes causes the game to pretty much automatically disable any mods installed. The biggest culprit SEEMED to be that an achievement enabler flag in the configuration file (the TOML file mentioned) was not working correctly, although other issues could also be compounding the matter, no conclusive answer has been found yet, I believe. After some research and digging I edited the TOML file directly, but for those of you not sure what that entails, the "SSE Engine Fixes Modified TOML File" mod ADHDecent installs is basically an already edited TOML file to "correct" the issue. I recommend reading that second mod's instructions to determine what other mods you may want to install to enable the features you need to have turned off for Engine Fixes. For example, I'm fine with having achievements disables for my Skyrim playthroughs on a modded game, but if you happen to want them, you'll need to do it through a different mod than relying on the functionality from Engine Fixes. For most people that have been following along this guide, I'd just keep following along with the tutorial series and then come back once you're more comfortable with your modding journey.
I was really dreading remodding skyrim again but ur guide made it so much easier. I have a few qns and help needed. I wanted to install a few things before I started playing since it was a fresh build but I know u release your series weekly and probably gotta wait like a month before I get there T^T. Do you have any tips for installing gameplay change mods like Ordinator and legacy of the dragonborn? Also want to install body changes like CBBE and touched by dibella followed by the Bijin mods that update the face of NPCs/followers. Do you have any recommendations or steps I must take or be cautious in? Because some problems is that the bodies become some default brown face sprite or all NPCs don't update to the new body type. Really appreciate ur help and the series!
+1 sub , Thanks you so much for all these videos , it's the only guide clear enough to me to successfully mod skyrim. Maybe a dumb question but can I play the game normally between the videos , as we add mods each time ?
For whatever reason,I am unable to use the current version of engine fixes part 1,with the latest version of Skyrim AE.MO2 does not like it.If I try to run it,it uninstalls all of my plugins below creation club mods, and completely bypasses skse64.I can have part2,installed with no issues.
I was wondering, between the prior video and this one, you had a red 'Overwrite' that disappeared, what did you do with that file? Thanks for the quality content, it's great.
Appreciate the kind words! A keen eye! It was just an INI file containing personal preferences or settings. You can drag and drop it onto the mod it relates to if it happens to be an INI file :-)
currently, SSE Engine Fixes breaks Alternate Start. I had to go through my mods one video at a time to figure out which mod messed with AS. disabling SSEEF fixed the problem for me. I'm unsure if theres any other workaround, but would appreciate the help, as AOS and ISC highly recommend using SSEEF with them
I have tested this today and it is still fully functional. The only thing I could assume is that you haven't updated SSEEF to the latest version and removed the modified TOML file as explained in the latest episode Its worth double checking
@@ADHDecent hey! So actually i was researching to resolve this problem, and disabling SSEEF didn't resolved, but I discovered that in my plugins tab on MO2, the Alternate Start was disabled... and yea, all this headacke I got was because of such a simple thing aha...
Thanks Man.. I love your content. Currently LOOT on MO2 doesn't work for me, so sorting the plugins is a real hassle. Can you paste your sorted plugin list so I can manually sort mine ? Thanks
Thanks for these series of Mod guidance. Will there be more. Cause it seems that you're the only one who has this 21 list of organizing the load order of the mods.( the separators I mean)
hey, videos are helpful but im having trouble with the voice audio parts 1 and 2, when trying to install it it says that the files are corrupted. this hasn't happened with any other mod so far is there a fix for this?
Hello, I love your videos! Thank you very much for making them! I think that today there is a version of SSE engine fixes for 1.6.1170, sorry for my English. Greetings from Argentina
Hello from Denmark! :-) thank you for your incredibly kind words. I’m very grateful. Yes as of this moment it’s 1.6.1170 :-) fortunately, I cover this in the series to help :-) sending my best to Argentina!
some of the mods never showed up on MO2. thinking that it some how didn't download, i tried again. but then it says i already have it downloaded??? any tips?
If there’s anything I’ve learned throughout this series (besides it being helpful) Is that smaller channels like this tend to be more helpful than the big boys, no idea why Really tho, thanks
@ADHDecent What would happen if I upgrade my special edition to the anniversary edition? Do all the DLC files and plugins automatically insert into my Mod Organiser? Thanks for all the vids!
right click hight poly project in mo2 mod list. Click View on Nexus. Scroll down the page any you will see a load before hpp and load after hpp. It is important to read descriptions before installing mods. It takes a few minutes which makes playing the game that much farther away but it will save you from having to spend an hour checking to see which mod is making problems in your game.
Recently had to abandon a modding attempt after realizing after far too many installations that I was mistaken regarding which version of Skyrim I had installed on top of the mod recommendation list I was using as a reference being far too chaotic for me to follow. That said this step by step guide is the relief I've been looking for and will start again soon with these videos as my navigator. One question, do you have a sense of how many parts this series will have? I'm just curious how much ground you intend to cover before you turn the viewer loose so to speak.
Glad I can help! Appreciate the support. There’s no set place to hand over so to speak it’s just down to how much each of us want to cover and learn before trying. So I’ll cover different areas to provide bases to be used where needed :-)
Hi ! Thanks for this new video. I feel like the mod order of previsouly installed mods changed since others video. Do we need to ajust it even if it occured outside video ?
Yes. I’ve looked back at it and I must have made a few adjustments during the installation testing. I included a few seconds in the video of the order to use as reference but I think I need to clarify this on the next video as I forgot I made changes
Im running skyrim , and ive gone through the vanilla start but when activating the mage stone the screen goes black and my pc restarts .. twice now :( any ideas?
I have a question about Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes. You've placed it quite low in the order, at the top of your Weapons, Armour, & Clothing Adjustments separator. In the mod description it asks you to put it very high in the load order, i.e. just below USSEP. Should I ignore their advice?
No I’d say take their advice if you’re ever in doubt as they’ll know the reasons why :-) At the moment as we’ve not touched on any armour, clothing or item mods, nor bodies or models, it’s location should be okay for now. But this will likely move up once we do :-)
I Have an issue with part 2of SSE engine fixes where the three dll files keep disappearing whenever I quit skyrim. So i have to re add them every time. Got any idea as to why this issue persists? Any help would be appreciated.
I've never played Skyrim before because it's quite old and I love a pretty game, but I've been working my way through this most excellent guide of yours and I'm getting quite excited to start playing. I've heard a lot abot 'Enderal' - would that be compatible with these mods? (sorry, never used a mod organizer before because it's like witchcraft to me so I have literally no clue) 😁
Hello! I really appreciate your work, it made me fall in love with Skyrim again. However I have a slight problem. The SkyrimSE executable file keeps disappearing from my main directory. With that MO2 can't find it. This keeps happening, I tried to copy the exe file after a reinstall as a backup, but I can't put it there in the main directory due to Steam's bs (I think). Any idea how to counter this?
Glad to hear it! :) RE exe file, copying and pasting wont work, you have to reinstall properly and remove any residual files. If you're having issues with it, try verifying the integrity of game files through Steam. Note: cracked games cant be modded
Fortunately I have a potato so there are limits to what I can install 😂 character overhaul is part of what’s to come don’t worry :-) lots of elements to cover. Instead of going into depth on each I’m splitting it up to cover all areas first then returning
I'm guessing that now that SSE Engine Fixes has made an update for 1.6.1170 and newer, that we don't need the Modified TOML file to patch Engine Fixes to that version.
@@ADHDecent Nice. I modded skyrim a while ago for my second playthrough and made a mess of things. Took a break from modding and now I decided to come back. Found your channel and have been watching ever since. Thank you for your guidance.
@ADHDecent it doesn't seem to be, the game seemed to run fine without it. Also thank you very much for the series as this has been one of the most frustrating games I've ever tried to mod and your videos have made it significantly easier 🫡❤️
Can't wait till we get to overhauling the Npc's and player character. I would like to see you try the BNP Skin(Bits & pieces) that was recommended by another Skyrim modder on here. He doesn't give a guide though, and it really does look like the best skin out there atm. I already tried downloading it myself but I think I broke the game again. I just want to know if it's compatible with Dibella's blessing mod tbh. BNP Skins with Dibella's face overhaul would make the game look better than anything released today.
@@ADHDecent I also understand the foliage and plants aren't done being upgraded yet either. I'm going back to the ENB episode and am going to try doing the NAT.ENB III combination. Gonna see how that looks with those Cathedral 3d plants. Might break the game again, but it is what it is. I've had to reinstall so many times one more time wont matter.
Cathedral 3D is on the list actually :-) you’re right I’m not done with it yet but I want to break it up for everyone so everyone enjoys it all. I have a list of the C3D mods for a future episode
@@ADHDecent I'll wait then. I went 13 years without playing skyrim. I can wait a little longer, unless we get a nuclear armageddon before this modlist is complete. I might be a little salty if that happens.
what do you mean landscape fixes for grass mod not working? does it make the game crash? or it doesnt do the thing its supposed to? or its not working to version 1170 ? or you mean its not working on that particular grass mod? because i downloaded it and its not causing any crash. im just confused and needed clarification, does it not working like its supposed to and im just not noticing?
Great guide, as usual. What are your thoughts on wabbajack lists and nexus collections? I'm thinking of using one as a base, and then adding onto it with my own list of mods. Edit: Also, what are your thoughts on performance heavy mods like Lux? Or mods that use parallax textures?
Appreciate it thank you! :-) RE lists, I’m more of a personal preferences kinda guy so for me I prefer building my own to have full control but lists can be a great starting point for people for sure. I usually use collections for inspiration to get the ideas going. With performance heavy mods, sadly my PC simply can’t handle them in its current state as it’s getting on a bit now but it’s something I hope to return to when I have a suitable PC :-)
Glad you’re enjoying it so far! I’ll give a little heads up - this week it’s going anyway. It’s good practise to go through the steps but if data or storage is a concern there are alternatives in the series that’ll give you the same practise :-)
!!NOTE!!: something has updated and SSE engine fixes will crash your game. I don't know how to fix it but just a head up for anyone following along. Great series though, i love this! (9/22/20240)
Hello, sorry, But if i may ask, I know you put it in the pinned message, But could you update this video and any others so people may not get confused when following?
Thanks once again for the didatics. I can't eait for the combat video, since I really wanted to play the game with a moder combat I followed your 8 previous videos and for combat I used a video from SoftGaming named "My ULTIMATE Skyrim Combat Overhaul" but the MOD "XP32 Maximum Skeleton" made the male npc's stop attacking me, so a removed it. Thanks again...
Thanks for your patience with the delay! This one required alot of work!

I will make a note of instances for sure :) perfect time as always! ;) enjoy!
Thank you so much for this series! I just gotten back into skyrim I was so baffled on how to mod
You're very welcome! Glad I can help! Happy modding :)
Can anyone help me with this problem I have? It says that it failed to locate an appropriate address library with the path: Data/SKSE/Plugins/versionlib-1-6-1170-0 bin
You Sir are a Gentleman & a Scholar, Cheers!
You're very welcome! Glad I could help!
Great work, appreciate all the help, you made modding Skyrim waayy easier for all of us! :)
Thank you so much Viktor! I really appreciate your support!
Thanks for taking time out of your day for these videos. Keep them coming!!!
I really appreciate your support! Thank you it means a great deal! More to come! :)
IVE BEEN WAITING PATIENTLY FOR THIS THANK YOU. IF I COULD SUB TWICE ID DO IT 3 TIMES
I really appreciate your support thank you so much! Means the world! :-)
Thank you SO MUCH for the SSE Engine Fixes help. I didn't know there was a fix out there
No problem at all! Happy to help! :-)
Time to Upgrade! 🎉 Thanks For the Weekly Updates ADHDecent!
You’re very welcome! Appreciate the support! More to come! :-)
perfect timing just was about to play and saw this time to get back to modding
Awesome timing! Enjoy! :-)
A video titled "Transform Skyrim GRAPHICS" tells me to download over 6GB of audio files
Aha! That's a good point... 😆 appreciate it thank you. Means alot
thank you for doing this guide it is very well done and easy to understand
I really appreciate the support thank you :-) more to come!
i followd the guide from the first video onwards and now i have a problem with the address library for skse plugins whenever i try starting the game i get a pop up saying DLL plugins you have installed require a new version of the addresslibrary.Either this is a new install,or skyrimwas just updated. visit the address library webpage for updates? i also have three folders in my overwrite called meshes nemesis_engnine and scripts.they appeared there when i updated and launched the nemesis engine after getting the animation for better movement in episode 6. ive never modded skyrim so idk if i just made a dumb mistake or what happend if anyone knows could help me with this it would be greatly appreiciated
maybe you downloaded the wrong file SE/AE version. for engine fixes also download TOML file.
@@yel6921 thanks for the help ,tbh is still don't really know what I did wrong but I somehow managed to fix so I'm not complaining 💀
@@sniperkasper1899 I'm having the same problem how did you manage to fix it?
@@shermanator1232 I can't remember exactly as it was a while back but ik I had to install a different version of one of the mods I think it was the skse one and then I had to that there update thingy on the skse library or whatever it was called and then it worked
Great as always!
I'm not playing or modding Skyrim at the moment, but I enjoy your videos nevertheless. ❤
Always an honour Meliann! Glad you’re enjoying them regardless!
Thanks for your video would love to see more video the game look so good and I want it to look even better
More to come! :) appreciate the support!
Maaaan ive been watching all of these and listening to every word, its been 3 hours and im already 13 brews deep 😂
That's the spirit! XD love it! Aha
I have this Problem Right now so i just Need to remove engine fix mod because all my mods turned off when i boot up the Game?
7:26 oh boy oh boy this is going to take quite a while, having no premium sucks
+1 sub , Thanks you so much for all these videos , it's the only guide clear enough to me to successfully mod skyrim. Maybe a dumb question but can I play the game normally between the videos , as we add mods each time ?
Appreciate the support! And yes you can :-)
So I've gotten to the end of this guide, and my night time in game is way too dark. How do i adjust this? I'm not sure what mod does this
Great vid, learning so much..
Always an honour Anthony! Appreciate it!
DUDE U R AWESOME
Really appreciate it thank you! Means alot to me
For whatever reason,I am unable to use the current version of engine fixes part 1,with the latest version of Skyrim AE.MO2 does not like it.If I try to run it,it uninstalls all of my plugins below creation club mods, and completely bypasses skse64.I can have part2,installed with no issues.
Great Series! I was sick of the limits of Vortex and MO2 seemed complicated until coming across this series. I definitely prefer MO2 now.
Amazing news! Glad I’ve been able to help! :-) happy modding!
For some reason looks like SSE Engine Fixes (skse 64 plugin) is erroring out
a great man, you are kind sir.
correction: the high poly mod doesn't improve the textures, it improves the models, models and textures are not the same thing, great vid!
I was wondering, between the prior video and this one, you had a red 'Overwrite' that disappeared, what did you do with that file? Thanks for the quality content, it's great.
Appreciate the kind words! A keen eye! It was just an INI file containing personal preferences or settings. You can drag and drop it onto the mod it relates to if it happens to be an INI file :-)
great series, hail the new king!
🥹
btw select multiple mods to move them where they go is (ctrl + left click) them
currently, SSE Engine Fixes breaks Alternate Start. I had to go through my mods one video at a time to figure out which mod messed with AS. disabling SSEEF fixed the problem for me. I'm unsure if theres any other workaround, but would appreciate the help, as AOS and ISC highly recommend using SSEEF with them
i'm having the same problem, I hope he help us!
I have tested this today and it is still fully functional.
The only thing I could assume is that you haven't updated SSEEF to the latest version and removed the modified TOML file as explained in the latest episode
Its worth double checking
Youre welcome! That's the plan, yes, many elements to cover!
hey, videos are helpful but im having trouble with the voice audio parts 1 and 2, when trying to install it it says that the files are corrupted. this hasn't happened with any other mod so far is there a fix for this?
Hello, I love your videos! Thank you very much for making them! I think that today there is a version of SSE engine fixes for 1.6.1170, sorry for my English. Greetings from Argentina
Hello from Denmark! :-) thank you for your incredibly kind words. I’m very grateful. Yes as of this moment it’s 1.6.1170 :-) fortunately, I cover this in the series to help :-) sending my best to Argentina!
some of the mods never showed up on MO2. thinking that it some how didn't download, i tried again. but then it says i already have it downloaded??? any tips?
If there’s anything I’ve learned throughout this series (besides it being helpful)
Is that smaller channels like this tend to be more helpful than the big boys, no idea why
Really tho, thanks
Glad I can help! Appreciate the support too thank you :)
my mod organiser crashes when I go to install Voices Part 2? any help?
@ADHDecent What would happen if I upgrade my special edition to the anniversary edition? Do all the DLC files and plugins automatically insert into my Mod Organiser? Thanks for all the vids!
Please make one of these series for Oblivion!
I will certainly look into it :-)
There's a problem with immersive sound compendium where the footstep sounds are just gone, is there a way to fix this?
I cannot figure out what I did wrong here. I got to this video and now my game crashes when I open the menu with esc
If someone could answer me that would be awesome: How do i now which mod falls under such category for example "high poly heads"
right click hight poly project in mo2 mod list. Click View on Nexus. Scroll down the page any you will see a load before hpp and load after hpp. It is important to read descriptions before installing mods. It takes a few minutes which makes playing the game that much farther away but it will save you from having to spend an hour checking to see which mod is making problems in your game.
If nemesis stops working for some reason try to change the name in the mod list from “Project Nemesis” etc.. to “Nemesis”and it should work again
I noted that SSE Engine Fixes was updated on 11 Aug for parts 1 & 2 - hoping I don't need the Modified TOML File - what do you think?
This is covered later on in this series actually as it was updated as the videos were released. Spoiler alert: No, you dont need it anymore :)
How do i fix the SSE Plugin Loader (2.2.6) error? Im still pretty novice at this
THX!!
SSE engine fixes is updated to the latest version of1.6.1170 btw!
It is indeed! I cover it in an update video later in the series to help with it if needed :-)
Im running skyrim , and ive gone through the vanilla start but when activating the mage stone the screen goes black and my pc restarts .. twice now :( any ideas?
ive adjusted the brightness in ENB ingame menu... could that be it? I can hardly imagine ?
how do i select more than 1at a time
I have a question about Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes. You've placed it quite low in the order, at the top of your Weapons, Armour, & Clothing Adjustments separator. In the mod description it asks you to put it very high in the load order, i.e. just below USSEP. Should I ignore their advice?
No I’d say take their advice if you’re ever in doubt as they’ll know the reasons why :-)
At the moment as we’ve not touched on any armour, clothing or item mods, nor bodies or models, it’s location should be okay for now. But this will likely move up once we do :-)
@@ADHDecentGood to know, thanks again!
@zonule_ when I’ve finished work later I’ll write it and pin it here with the updated list :-)
@@ADHDecentAwesome! I'll keep an eye out :)
Added to pinned comment :)
I Have an issue with part 2of SSE engine fixes where the three dll files keep disappearing whenever I quit skyrim. So i have to re add them every time. Got any idea as to why this issue persists? Any help would be appreciated.
Anti-Virus is quarantining them. Add to White List
@@ADHDecent are you referring to the exclusion function on windows security?
will the new version of Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods work?
I've never played Skyrim before because it's quite old and I love a pretty game, but I've been working my way through this most excellent guide of yours and I'm getting quite excited to start playing. I've heard a lot abot 'Enderal' - would that be compatible with these mods? (sorry, never used a mod organizer before because it's like witchcraft to me so I have literally no clue) 😁
Glad you’re enjoying it! :-) appreciate the support! Yes, Enderal is an expansion mod
Excellent series as always. Quick question: Since installing the sound mods, I've lost the opening menu music. Is this normal?
Appreciate it! There’s a delay with it. It’s just really quiet
How do I know what order my mod has to be because I want to download skyrim 202x
This is the first video I've come across an issue. Whenever I click ESC to open up the missions menu and stuff, my game just crashes, any fix known?
And everytime I open the game all my mods get deselected???
Nevermind, I got it, it was the Engine fixes again, just like i was having on vortex too
@@XimplGames HELP IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE HOWWW
@@gladius002 Which part are you having an issue on?? I removed engine fixes 2 completely and that fixed it
RE exe file, copying and pasting wont work, you have to reinstall properly and remove any residual files. If you're having issues with it, try verifying the integrity of game files through Steam. Note: cracked games cant be modded
@@ADHDecent Thank you! I'll give it a try.
its ok for base mod of graphic, stay at performance friendy my brother, and please dont forget about character overhaul :D
Correct. I'm currently recording a video to cover the update to it that will be out soon :)
@@ADHDecent Nice. I modded skyrim a while ago for my second playthrough and made a mess of things. Took a break from modding and now I decided to come back. Found your channel and have been watching ever since. Thank you for your guidance.
Amazing news. Thank you for your kind words I'm very grateful to you. Glad I'm able to help! :-)
Is there a mod that allows to increase fps cap to at least 100 and not fuck up the game completely?
5:27 There is new version of this mod.
I think I'mma have to buy some more brew by the end of this series...
😆 love it
Thankfully SSE Engine Fixes has been updated to 1170 as of 5/10/24
This is worth noting as this might mean the modified TOML is no longer needed
@ADHDecent it doesn't seem to be, the game seemed to run fine without it. Also thank you very much for the series as this has been one of the most frustrating games I've ever tried to mod and your videos have made it significantly easier 🫡❤️
You're very welcome! I appreciate your kind words thank you it really means alot. It lovely to hear I've been able to help!
Looking forward to sharing!
@evalationx2649 XD aha! Yes that would suck to be fair…
what do you mean landscape fixes for grass mod not working? does it make the game crash? or it doesnt do the thing its supposed to? or its not working to version 1170 ? or you mean its not working on that particular grass mod? because i downloaded it and its not causing any crash. im just confused and needed clarification, does it not working like its supposed to and im just not noticing?
This mod has since been updated as of 14th March and will be included in the next video
@ADHDecent oh thank you for that clarification. i though LFFGM was not working as intended.
It wasn’t at the time. It appears the update has fixed the issues though :-)
With performance heavy mods, sadly my PC simply can’t handle them in its current state as it’s getting on a bit now but it’s something I hope to return to when I have a suitable PC :-)
jesus, 1.2 gb for flowers, but so far i'm liking this guide.
Glad you’re enjoying it so far! I’ll give a little heads up - this week it’s going anyway. It’s good practise to go through the steps but if data or storage is a concern there are alternatives in the series that’ll give you the same practise :-)
@@ADHDecent thanks man! looking forward to it!
!!NOTE!!: something has updated and SSE engine fixes will crash your game. I don't know how to fix it but just a head up for anyone following along. Great series though, i love this! (9/22/20240)
Fix is covered in this guide later on.
