Thanks for this man! I woke up saying today is a scratch practice day, and this was the first video on my tl. 💪🏾💪🏾
Ayeee, I love to hear it 🙏🏾💯
Man!! I purchased so many Dj scratch courses, but you bro, make it much easier for me to learn, I appreciate you man, real talk 🤙🏾
Man, I truly love to hear that 🙏🏾🙏🏾 - thanks for dropping a comment!
I know how hard it is to synchronize the two hands when you speed up. I have some problems with my left hand in this case but here we go ah aha. Thanks fam, you're good and even the best have to practice!
I definitely have to practice this all the time!! And yup, getting it down with both hands is TOUGH, but so worth it.
You’re the best teacher I’ve seen so far keep up the good work
Man been dying to learn how to properly scratch! Just got my Rane One today and seeing you posted this! Comes in clutch 💪🏼 shoutout to you man 💥
Thanks for the support man 🙏🏾 - how do you like the Rane one so far??
Great content brotha! Can't wait to get home to try your methods out. I usually prefer mixing with minimal scratching but I need to change it up. Glad I came across this game you giving out! Much respect!
Appreciate ya bro! And it’s funny, I know how to scratch pretty well, but I mix with minimal scratching as well. But when it’s time, I definitely get down aha.
Appreciate ya 🙏🏾
I appreciate you to the max my man you are the man I been studying your videos for months and I’m already scratching thanks brother Your truly appreciate it blessings
You’re more than welcome bro 🙏🏾🙏🏾 thank you for watching
I did some online scratch classes but they all lacking simple but very effective combos like yours. Another video of yours saved in my YT practice folder. Please keep them coming🔥🔥🔥
More on the way man, thanks for the support honestly 🙏🏾🙏🏾 - I definitely agree! There’s nothing like finding a good scratch combo to practice and emulate
Much luv DJ Liftoff, thanks for the knowledge big homie!! Very detailed and helpful!!

I just took lesson one last night this is great timing and as usual with you great content. Subscribe and support!
Perfect!! 🙏🏾 appreciate you!
Keep doing your thing. Loving the content bro. Have you ever thought of a tutorial on Library management and crate setups?
Appreciate it bro 🙏🏾 - and yes, I have a video on that actually! Let me know if you’ve seen it or think it could more in depth?
can you do a tutorial about timing and how scratches sound musical.you can learn technique but when timing and rhythm is off won't sound right
Yes! I’ve tried recording this video before and it ended up being a bit too lengthy. But this is definitely something important and I have it on my list!
Cool. Thanks.
🙏🏾
Bam bam bam I think this one will get me there 🔥🔥🔥👊🏾🤝🏾big thanks mi Breda
🙏🏾🙏🏾 appreciate ya bro! More than welcome as always 🤞🏾
maaaaan! I appreciate this SO MUCH! I think my issue was practising to a beat and then when I try to speed up at when I'm at my +8 I got off beat and didn't know speed up but stay on beat. I'll try with no beat and get that speed up. Thanks heaps!
You’re VERY welcome man 🙏🏾! And yes, definitely worth practicing without a beat! Let me know how it goes!
Great teacher and I enjoy your videos!!!
I also just ordered the RANE 1 on yesterday. She be delivered on this Thursday from Amazon
Thanks you G! Appreciate the support. How do you like the Rane One so far??
@@DJLiftOFF bro I'm loving them!!! Been practicing transforming and getting better. I never used to use the cross faders because I have always used the vertical faders but I'm learning. I practice everyday my man!
@@wirelessg2010 dope 💯 glad you like it!
@@DJLiftOFF yeah and I have been practicing on the crossfader. I learned using the vertical faders so I am re training myself but getting it. I will practice everyday. I have mixing down. I am one of the best mixers around and once I get this transforming down, I will be to legit to quit🤣
I’m in the lab right now 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Let’s get it!! 💪🏾
Now backspin to the beginning of the stronger acapella and chirp scratch it again 😛 lol
You know you can do it! 👌🏽
Hey man! Huge fan! I’d love to hear your opinions and review of the Rane One from a turntablists standpoint! I’m sure we’d all love it!
Much appreciated 🙏🏾. Most definitely will get that done!! 👌🏾👌🏾
My bro
Appreciate you bro! 🤞🏾🙏🏾
Finally a tutorial that isn’t talking down
Never that 🙏🏾 - appreciate the comments man!
I like it👊💚
teach us how to reverse the jog wheel as u fade faster out the song with fader.thanks
🙏🏾 thanks. Not sure I know exactly what you mean?
Thanks Liftoff, its a weekend of practice i guess.
You’re welcome 🙏🏾 - let’s get it!
It is hard, but practice is key. In all honesty though, it's how you feel the beat and rhythm. If you got it. You got it! 🔥🤷🏽♂️
I couldn’t agree more!! Practice is definitely key. And in terms of just “feeling” the beat and rhythm, just like you said, some just got it! But I do believe it can be developed over time.
I think you always bringing it much love and respect from South Africa.I would love to feature a mini mix done by yourself on my radio show here in South Africa.
Oh yeah man, I’d love that 🙏🏾✊🏾! Do you already have an existing one you’d like to use, or would like me to create a new one?
Nice demonstrate, I have to ask. Other than platter sizes. Can you tell that much of a difference when scratching on the Rane one compared to your tables?
I plan to actually do a video on this exact subject. Honestly, it’s pretty similar but the djms9 mixer offers a better scratching experience when coupled with the Rane 12s for a few reasons. However, the Rane one is still a beat and very capable of getting the job done.
Thanks for always sharing the knowledege. I',m looking to record my mix just like you do on these tutorial videos. How do you merge Serato screenshot with the video recording? Can you point me in the direction?
You’re very welcome! So I record my screen using QuickTime player, and I also record my mixer audio (serato audio) in QuickTime at the same time. Then I record my actual Dj equipment separately, and in final cut, I just place the serato screen recording over the equipment footage and trim the screen recording so it fits at the top.
Do you do videos on different equipment
Hey brother ! I am new to the game! And am using the Pioneer DJ Rev1 - keen to understand your recommendation on settings within Serato for scratching (for general use like beatmixing etc)
Yo! I love the Rev 1 🙌🏾 - if you look through my videos, I have a serato settings video. You can follow it for just mixing even tho a part two is focused for scratching. The majority is for general mixing!
💯🙏🏽
🙏🏾🙏🏾
Were I can get that's sounds brot ?
The sounds are actually in the description for download! The serato scratch sentence, right?
Where did you get that serato scratch track?
I honestly can’t remember originally, but it’s available for download in the description!
Where can we get these serato tracks from to practice?
You can download the serato scratch sentence in the description! But if you’d like the actual songs too, I can send them to you if you let me know your email!
@@DJLiftOFF I just need the scratch sentences. Thanks for providing this! You’re awesome 👏🏽
If so can you do one on a Numark midstream pro
So as of now, I do videos using different equipment that I’ve actually purchased. In the future, I hope to somehow get sponsored or get equipment sent to me to review (huge goal of mine) but if I can get my hands on that Numark controller, I’ll definitely do a video with it!
Thanks you’re the best
Question: what’s the “JP way”?
thejpwayevents.com - I eventually plan to do a video on this! But a company and friend and I have that offers event services. Pretty much my website lol.
The secret to speed is not practicing a single tehnique faster and faster till you mess up.
The secret is to practice to a metronome get good at one speed, then up the tempo, and get good at that, then up it again etc...
Thats it.
tiene buenos platos ahahaahahahah
No entiendo? Lol
Mane you need speed get yo 2 clicks down and og flares
I’m still practicing G.. just tryna help along the way.
I always like pretending there's a beat and use the scratch sounds to add to it lol
Smart way to practice honestly lol! 👌🏾
Hey DJ lift off can you make a beginners video showing how to filter in the next song with the hi and low pass filter step by step and can you also send the steps to my email
