First off Tony it was good to see ole Ichabod Crane truck back in action, you're right he's one ole sexy truck. The Brush Tiger did great on the pond banks. Looked nice. Can't wait to see Ichabod lifting and doing what he was made to do.
Hey buddy, I see your using your elbow rest. Alot smoother on that control. I also know Tanya's not close to the tractor. She knows you better than that. LOL. Keep up the good work, my friend. may God bless.
Tiny is stubborn and would like to get the best camera shot. I sometimes make her move. She gets focused on the video and not safety. Still we bought a professional video camera which has an extreme zoom lens. This way you guys can feel up close but it keeps her out of danger.
definitely pushed the limit on that finish more. I use a flail mower with hyd offset feature for ditches and pond. However still not as nice as the Brush Tiger since offset is only about 24". But does help having it
Hey Tony - Cool mower, but after reading Hank’s comment, I really honed in on the camera work, areas of focus, and overall editing. I agree, high quality video. I don’t know if you feel this way, but sometimes I feel like getting your audio right is a bigger challenge with the whole video editing process than sometimes the video itself. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Have a good evening!
Sound is key. People will put up with shaky video, but they are gone with bad sound. I appreciate you and I checked out your channel. You are on your way.
I agree 100% on the importance of good sound. It's like back in the day if you had TVs with VHF/UHF dials and you'd have to fine tune your channel. You may watch a little bit of static or video distortion (maybe), but if the sound's messed up, NOPE. Thank you, sir!
Thanks Tony. I was looking into Hardee implements. Hardee is a pretty well known brand down here (southeastern states). Enjoyed the review and demonstration. Friend of mine has one that he uses to clear around his pastures and it's a well balanced cutter. Full-watch. 👍🏽🙂
Great video Tony. I mow with a 5 foot finish mower on my 494. I got the 5 foot mower when I had a smaller tractor. Just never pulled the trigger on a bigger one.
Do you know of any reason (outside of covid)why we cant seem to get any TYM tractors up here in southwestern PA?? I"ve had a 474 w backhoe on order for a good while now and the dealers just cant seem to get anything in.
Covid shifted how people live on a massive level. People want the ability to manage their property and grow their food. I would guess there have been more tractors sold in the last 12 months than in the previous five years. TYM is also becoming a well-trusted name brand known for its longevity. Every tractor manufacture in the world is having trouble keeping up.
At least some of the trouble is due to semiconductor shortage too. Once orders increased it was hard to get all the control chips made as well, the waiting time for new orders is insanely high, historically. You can't deliver a tractor with only 98% of the parts in it.
Honestly, this is my first flail mower, but I can see benefits to the articulating offset flail mower. Especially in the smaller tractors. Swinging off to the side allows the tractor to run cooler by not running through the tall grass. It also does better with banks. The draw back is the weight and the added complexity.
Some brand cutters try to run off the tractors hydraulics. Tractors don't have the hydraulic cooling capacity needed. If you look at a skid steer, they have huge hydraulic cooling radiators on them. All brands of tractors will void your warranty if you use a cutter running off the tractor's internal hydraulic system.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Yes I understand how it can be, but it can't reach out 18 foot. Everything has it's limits, just like black sheep mowers has made money for me.
Hey Tony! Great video. Super helpful. I’m interested in buying one of these implements and our tractor also has an open cab. What were the safety precautions you took when trimming vertically with the blade to prevent any blowback from trees or thicker brush? How bad was it?
Too bad that the mower is not able to be extended at least 2" or more. There seems to be an opportunity for improvement on this mower. Thanks for the demo. Best wishes.
I think the Brush Tiger does what it is advertised to do. It is perfect for wood lines, ditch banks, and tree pruning. I am able to raise it up in the air tilting it trimming as high as 16 ft. The further weight hangs out, the bigger the tractor needs to be.
I have mine for sale at Bob's Tractor in McEwen, TN. 7K in perfect condition. I love it, but I have to many mowers that duplicate each other. Also, I am building a house. I am broke. LOL!
Nice attachment... but it should be considered a crime against nature for a property owner to mow a pond like that right down to the edge of the water all the way around. Makes for just an ugly water filled hole, and leaves no place for nature.

Old Ichabod is running down the road all legal. I had a blast driving up to the new Shell gas station. The looks I got!
That Brush Tiger Offset Mower is one awesome attachment. Enjoyed the video as always.
Thank you. I am loving the Brush Tiger.
If this rain doesn't stop, my yard is going to be a pond...lol. ☔ One of my favorite attachments. Good work Tony!
We were about floated away today! No rain for two weeks and bam!
I bought a dam tractor bc of you!!!!
Yep TYM 264 and I love it...thank you
Tony best purchase ever....keep them
Videos coming....
I love the T264. Solid rig.
My first time viewing one of your entries. So far so good. I look forward to watching your previous vids soon. Keep it up from a STB Fan...
Glad to have you
That’s a perfect job for my teenager with a weed eater. I’m all about outsourcing!
All my outsourcing has grown up and started careers.

Amazing video and editing! This company should actually purchase this video from you!
Wow! Thank you. I appreciate that. We are trying to learn how to do better videos.still learning.
Great Video Tony, Good Presentation & That looks fun to operate
It is fun. I think I could do it all day and not call it work. Thank you.
Man you are tooled up! That's a useful implement.
It is a moneymaker too. I can do things other people can't compete with conventional equipment. I appreciate you.
Enjoyed the video. Good job with the front mower no telling how bad I'd scalped that ditch lol
I have scalped a few learning, but it is easy to see from the seat and easy to learn. It is one of my favorite attachments.
definitely pushed the limit on that finish more. I use a flail mower with hyd offset feature for ditches and pond. However still not as nice as the Brush Tiger since offset is only about 24". But does help having it
I did push the finish mower. I am learning more every time I use the Brush Tiger.
Good job, I use an old sickle mower to cut around my ponds, it does ok but it’s high maintenance
I pulled a mule pull sickle mower around our farm as a kid with an old Farmall
I use my Farmall Super C with a 7ft sickle bar. Little sketchy on the deep but great for riding the sides.
I used a Farmall pulling an old mule pull sickle mower.
so genuine and informative, thanks for this great video
Thank you. Still loving it.

Great video Tony. I mow with a 5 foot finish mower on my 494. I got the 5 foot mower when I had a smaller tractor. Just never pulled the trigger on a bigger one.
I always mow with the T264, but I pleasantly surprised at how well the T474 mowed. It sits high.
Nice attachment and great video. I use a DR walk behind string trimmer, non self propelled but it works great.
Everything has its place! I like the DR Trimmer
Nice video Tony!
Thank you.
Awesome video. Loved it.
Good post Tony! Interesting implement.👍
I love the Brush Tiger. I could use it all day. 👍
Listen ing n watching your video, was relaxing
Glad to help. 😇
I would get a foam ac filter and put it on the radiator when you use it.
I have never had a problem with this tractor. It has a metal screen.
Mr Tony... Wouldn't a bar mower work better for the pond bank?
If you are referring to a sickle mower, then not in this case. The banks are eroded and very rough. Plus, this mower can be raised up to trim trees.
Lovely attachment!
I enjoy it a great deal. I could operate the Brush Tiger all day.
International cycle bar mower with a hydraulic up grade i did to control the bar height.
I could see how a sickle bar mower could work.

Great video. If that brush cutter had another foot I think you’d been able to mow all the way to the water.
It is a blast to operation. If it was dry, I could do a bit better.
Great videos, but after watching this item in use, I believe I would prefer the offset flail mower. Your thoughts?
Honestly, this is my first flail mower, but I can see benefits to the articulating offset flail mower. Especially in the smaller tractors. Swinging off to the side allows the tractor to run cooler by not running through the tall grass. It also does better with banks. The draw back is the weight and the added complexity.
Can you explain what is on the back of the tractor? Is it pto driven hydraulic oil pump?
Yes, it is. It is a self-contained unit. The tractor provides power via the PTO.
That beats the snot out of the way I did that as a kid, with a sling.
That pond is snake heaven. I remember the old hard work.
I use a sickle bar mower it does a great job.
I have used a sickle mower also. Good times.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Mower on a small excavator works best, at times rented one for bigger jobs.
I have found the Brush Tiger to be a Money Maker. Perfect for so many jobs.
@@TonysTractorAdventure Yes I understand how it can be, but it can't reach out 18 foot.
Everything has it's limits, just like black sheep mowers has made money for me.
I find the Brush Tiger to be in the sweet spot of range for many good-paying jobs. I can flip it up and cut limbs off about 16 feet in the air.
What would charge for a job like that, nice work.
Hey Tony! Great video. Super helpful. I’m interested in buying one of these implements and our tractor also has an open cab. What were the safety precautions you took when trimming vertically with the blade to prevent any blowback from trees or thicker brush? How bad was it?
Never turn it where the blades aim at the operator. I have done several videos showing more about safety.
Thanks buddy that looks handy
I am starting to get the hang of it.
I find different uses every time I hook up. I appreciate you.
Tony, If the info on Hardee's home page is correct, the Brush Tiger 35 has a cutting width of 48". Just trying to help.
That is the newer model. This video is old.
What g.p.m. pump you got on that tractor? Just wondering if my machine will run something like that 😃
It doesn't work that way. Watch the video and you will understand.
Self contained power unit, gotcha..,thanks for making me watch the video again 🤣
I was wondering the same thing, and knew the power pack ran it so can you say what GPM the power pack produces?
I love Icabod Crane Truck!!!
Me too.
The old truck is fun to have around.
I use a CAN AM side by side and a DR pull behind brush mower. The mower can be offset so it lets me mow down a bank, which is close to 30%
But, can you take the mower off and pick up a log, till a garden, grade a drive, dig a post hole, etc.?😇
Good looking tool
I appreciate that. The brush tiger is very versatile.
I mow my pond banks with iquid weedeater, Eraser weed killer.
Liquid string trimmer! 🤣
Good Video!
Thank you my friend. Other than getting rained out, it was a fun day.
excellent video. Best video Ive seen on this attachment.
Wow, thanks!
Cool video
Thank you my friend
Why does no one use their parking brake when they're unloading? Do you want to get a new truck?
I love the elitist overtone. Good job.
Too bad that the mower is not able to be extended at least 2" or more. There seems to be an opportunity for improvement on this mower. Thanks for the demo. Best wishes.

What's the minimum HP tractor?
It is more about the weight of the tractor. A 25hp tractor that weighs 3000 pounds would work.
Although the brush tiger is nifty, it would be better if it had a Sickle mower out there, it won't mulch but the reach would be better
I really like the Brush Tiger.
Do you own all these different attachments?
We do own all of the attachments we show on the channel. Some are sponsored. Some we purchased.
I want one!
I have mine for sale at Bob's Tractor in McEwen, TN. 7K in perfect condition. I love it, but I have to many mowers that duplicate each other. Also, I am building a house. I am broke. LOL!
The bush hogging would be better suited , finish mowing is good for 4” and less just like a lawn mower
Thank you for your input.
Nice unit, but I wouldn't buy it because of the hydraulic unit on the back! Too much.
Nice attachment... but it should be considered a crime against nature for a property owner to mow a pond like that right down to the edge of the water all the way around. Makes for just an ugly water filled hole, and leaves no place for nature.
Thank you for your opinion.
Heaney Centers
Just so you know .,.,. Keep that loader down , you will flip that tractor over
I appreciate your input.
Stay safe
Thank you.
Too much talk talk and bs
I appreciate your feedback.
