Hello friends! Today, I return to the land of internet hauls and social media targeted recommendations - with a deep dive into the Instagram shop tab! Previously, I have bought things recommended to me via targeted ads on Facebook, Instagram, RUclips, and Snapchat - and when the shop tab was rolled out - peeking its lil head out from behind the explore page - I was instantly intrigued. So I spent an evening perusing the shop tab, finding 3 different common themes of what Instagram wanted me to buy, and then purchasing those things, and trying them out. It was a WILD ride, as Instagram recommended me everything from full-on historical costumes to trendy "e-girl" fashion. Which outfit was your favorite? What's on your shop tab?

This is not my original thought, but I really like the idea and it should be made known: So, there is an online candle store called "Homesick Candles", basically they make a candle with designated scents to each state in the U.S. So the gist of the idea is I/we want Safiya to mix all the candles together and find out what the U.S. smells like

I just now read your blog post from sept. and it really broke my heart❤️ I hope you’re feeling better now. You’ll never be a failure. Even if you quit RUclips altogether that would never mean you’re a failure. You’re a wonderful creator and such a ray of sun in a gloomy world for me and so many other people who love you and Tyler and your videos. Really try not to take those negative comments to heart because they’re all total bs. Your voice and the way you talk have always been so charming and endearing to me. I love it! I love you and it’s part of what makes you you! You and Tyler are also very clearly both very sweet people who make a beautiful couple and love each other very much. In the past few years there’s been times I’ve watched your videos when I was stuck in a toxic relationship and seeing you guys was a reminder that real love is out there and I could and should be getting treated a lot better. You guys and your videos give us hope. You don’t owe us anything though or a certain number of videos in a certain amount of time.
You are so successful and accomplished because you are talented, smart, hardworking, and, from what I can tell from this side of the screen, a genuinely good and kind person. I know RUclips is your job and what you do, but at the end of the day it should never NEVER make you feel all these negative untrue things about yourself or make you feel so much pressure. I know that’s way easier said than done and there are a lot of pushy fans that think creators owe them a certain number of videos in a certain time crunch for some reason, but that’s insane. Do whatever the hell you need to do to just be at peace and happy. Go on vacation. Take breaks. Hopefully you can because you’re so successful and so you should! You earned all these things, so now you can and should enjoy your life! It’s your life. Do whatever makes you happy.
I really hope you’re feeling better now and that you never get so down on yourself over RUclips again. You of all people don’t deserve to be feeling like that. People are just miserable and want to bring even the sweetest people down. They have no lives. I have anxiety and I’m a perfectionist and I definitely see a lot of my own struggles and thoughts about myself reflected in what you wrote. If you’ve never been I definitely recommend therapy! I think anyone can benefit from it and it’s helped me a lot. I’m not trying to be nosy or saying that out of judgment whatsoever, I just really think it can help so much and you could feel a lot better about yourself and see the Safiya we see who is so great and accomplished and sweet. My perfectionism slows me down a lot and it takes me a long time to do things most of the time and fine-tuning every detail is exhausting and can definitely create burnout, so I totally relate. Your videos genuinely are perfect though! You guys make really great work. It doesn’t matter if you don’t post all the time! Ok this has been really long, but I just really love you and your videos. Always have. Always loved seeing you and Tyler together, too. So I had to say something 💕

I'm 21, and honestly, not even I knew what exactly qualified as an e-girl look. I also don't pay attention to one specific style because I've always just bought what I think is cute, which is possibly why I didn't know.

The second outfit is very e-girl, like if you wore chains and rings and did like pigtails, it's very much e-girl
For the third outfit, there is a type of e-girl thats called "soft/pastel e-girl" so you still technically wore an e-girl look

This video is the reason I say “is this egirl??” to literally everything pastel I see at the mall
I couldn't help but notice at the start when Safia was looking through the stuff and bookmarked a pair of Edwardian shoes, that it was the brand memery, i own a pair of those exact shoes and i fully reccomend them, as someone with autism i need shoes that are comfortable or i would rather be barefoot then wear something that is gonna make me uncomfortable and these are hella comfy, and made of leather so they will be with you for a long time if you care for them how you should care for leather. Also they have way too many pretty shoes and even sweaters, I'm planing to buy at least one or 2 pairs of shoes outside of the black ones. They are perfect for witch and cottagecore looks and apparently even some movie productions bought shoes from them for filming so ye. Memery have good shoes. And thry also make wider shoes in case someone woth wide feet will want a pair too. But they aren't cheep, I'll give them that.

its honesty amazing how re-watchable her videos are, she does follow some trends in her videos but she always differentiate it from other youtubers and the video editing is always really good so a video from 4 years (like the decades fashion series) ago is still a great watch today

As a person who wears wigs regularly, I can say that your wig actually looked pretty good. You trimmed the lace front very well and covered your bio hair nicely. All in all, a good wig.

The brand websterwigs where saf got hers is actually really good. I have been following them on instagram for quite some time now and know multiple people that bought their wigs. And with prices from 65$ to somewhere in the 100s its a good quality wig for a reasonable price
