My 2014 Ram had airbag light. Ended up just being the connector under driver seat was a little loose. I squeezed it and it’s been fine since…now to watch the video.. After watching: I think I’ll try ziptie if it comes back on ever..;)
No DSpanky Brian, she is married....... But yes poor connections, and not putting that extra 1c of sleeving on the wiring was considered important cost cutting. Just do it to the other side as well, same seat, same airbags, same poor connections, but not going to show up as the passenger seat rarely gets moved or used. Nice scan tool BTW, like the wireless connectivity. Friend has the same, just we really do not want to go pay Le Car prices for a new clock spring, seeing as it is half the value of the vehicle. Or go look to see if it actually Tataka airbag as well, safer if it does not go off. But we like that car, good fuel economy, and not at all bad for the size, though AMT does take some getting used to the quirks.
Hey bud Gotta question for yah. Gotta 98 ram2500 5.9v8 NV4500. Was out plowing during bad storm recently, and in middle pushing snow my truck died, figured that out but from sitting I was hung up in a snowbank. I go to give it somewhat of eh boosted launch, “Clutch dump” Truck had nothing. No forward gears just revs up, also I can float the shifter through the gears without pressing the clutch in while it’s running. Won’t move. I pulled the shifter off. Thought it was stuck between gears, thought it some how miraculously snapped off the input shaft. No horrible noise happened. Tho my trans fluid looks like chocolate milk. I tried crawling under to shift the tcase manually. Still don’t move. If the clutch failed my understanding was it’ll always be able to grab a gear and get home. If the tcase failed well… that’s another story. Wonder if you got a video on what happens if ur 4wd failed in a manual transmission. Thx fur lookin.
Hi Brian. I had the same problem on my Honda Civic. SRS on. It was the micro switch in the belt clasp . I disarmed the air bag system, cleaned out the switch electrical cleaner & gave it a low blast of air . And that fixed it. Cookie crumbs and coffee stains inside . Greetings from Canada it’s cold up here . - 14 c 6.8 F . Always enjoy your videos. 🇺🇸🇨🇦
Way to go! My Grunkle Dave went back up to Alberta to find his LP tank froze and so did his pipes. Got back just in time to save his house and shop! Warm regards = ) Thanks!
