At really competitive play, yes; suicide grabs can be escaped, causing SDs to be rather common; 4, not so much.

no if you spit out the other player actually usually gets the advantage bc Kirby has end lag on spit while the other can take time to recover, punish, or both. if they break out midair the other character usually falls faster especially since both players now have an end lag.

not that you will have to play many kirbys, but here are a few tips from a project m kirby main.
dont break out of inhale, make him lose a stock too.
break from back and forward throw as soon as possible, and if they roll towards ledge and shield, they are probably looking for the back throw.
kirby's speed is terrible, but his air moves are still good, specifically the back air, almost as good as puff's as far as keeping distance between the opponent, watch out for this move.
