    I think the evo 3 where it adds aoe on each bounce is the evo that was made into the Incarnon mode, like the Paris evolution was made into its incarnon form.
    I am guessing(well,hoping lol) the incarnon form will have bouncing and homing glaives like the Cedo. Also the aoe is 3m on the aoe according to the wiki so there's gotta be something more to make it good.

      It really needs to if the incarnon form is gonna change into anything significant. I always looked at the Miter Augment and thought "thats cool and all, but my primary is 90% of the time a high RoF gun, which btw also gets rid of nullies quickly"
      Having it be like the cedo where you just aim in the general direction and just remove every bubble in sight would make it an upgrade I would consider

    I wouldnt be surprised if you didnt have one, but could you do a vid on the torid as well, I doubt it will be as good, but hoping for it to be interesting. Thanks for the vid.

    Just wanted to point out that negative projectile speed (on base miter at least, can't speak for incarnon yet) doesn't noticeably change the velocity of the blades. I have a riven with -95% and can't even tell a difference when I take it off. So that could potentially be another good negative to roll for this

      The damage falloff would be nasty. You would deal like no meaningful dmg against anything past 1 meter. i once rolled -80% on a Kohm riven thinking it doesn't do anything since it's hitscan, oh boy was i wrong.

      @@izaruburs9389 Damage falloff is a thing on shotguns, shouldnt really affect the Miter projectile right? classified as rifle

      @@IplayTeemoasaWard All weapons have a damage falloff which scales with projectile speed including hitscan weapons and melees.

      shouldn'nt be that safe until we see exacty how the incarnon fire mode works

    • @ghengooni
      @ghengooni Год назад

      @@izaruburs9389 My damage is not getting negatively affected by the negative projectile speed on the riven; that is only for weapons that use projectile speed to calculate their falloff range (mainly shotguns). Falloff on melees and radial falloff for AOE are completely separate stats from projectile speed. Though the incarnon could scale its damage based on projectile speed, the base mode 100% does not.

    what should i be looking for on a Soma riven?

    • @izaruburs9389
      @izaruburs9389 Год назад +1

      Multishot, crit dmg and crit chance in that order. Since the incarnon evolutions usualy have some status boost you could argue for a status heavy riven, but idk about that for soma. Alterativly a dual elemental mod that provides something like viral or corrosive for one mod slot is often a nice way to free up some space for other mods too.

    I'd say nullifiers arent really an issue if your secondary has decent fire rate.

      If you're using miter to pop the bubbles, then it means you're probably running either a DD melee + epitaph/nukor, or DD secondary + bounce status glaive. Epitaph has shit fire rate, and so do most top secondaries. Nukor is an exception, but you wouldn't want to waste all that ammo on popping a bubble.
      Also, miter pops bubbles faster that high fire rate weapons. It's just more convenient to use miter for that, as you don't have to wait for the game to catch up to all those damage ticks you would do with a fast firing weapon.
      Also also, it's great to use miter with Valkyr or Excal melee builds cause you can use miter to quickly and easily pop bubbles without turning off your exalted weapon. Just left click to pop the bubble and immediately press the melee button to quickly go back to using your exalted weapon.
