An M4 also looks a lot like an M16, so a lot of people think it has an automatic setting when it doesn’t, even if they know that they are two different guns. Or I’m overthinking it because I like those guns.
@@FreyOD Lol, I like other guns too! I like the Galil, and the uzi (Israel), HK36 and Kar98 (German), the Mosin Nagant (Czech), and there are lots more, but that’s just a sample. I do like the rifles that descend from the Armalite-15 though. They’re an old standby at this point.

At the bridge in undead settlement you can run to the ledge of the sewer and do a drop attack killing all the rats and getting about 1000 souls, they also drop souls. It takes like 10 seconds and isn't bad if you really need souls I'm the very early game, I did it the first time I ever played because I only leveled strength and Dex and had no health from starting with thief.
honestly i'd love to see dark souls be played like its skyrim in first person with the weapons and magic and whatnot i mean it wouldnt be an upgrade to the game but it would definitely be interesting
These games punish you for being far away. The enemies either use different attacks, or there’s the simple fact that getting hit with the end of a weapon or arm hurts worse than close to the sword handle or shoulder. The part on the end is moving the fastest and has the most mass behind it, and the game accounts for this. Also, staying close means you can run around and change your angle relative to the enemy’s front faster.

I do think the fact that it took him longer to beat ds3 all boses with a GUN than with his BARE FIST is quite interesting.
Having fought some of these bosses on GMod via addons, I can indeed agree that they take much longer to fight with guns than with fists and or blades.
The "gun" aspect of this game could use a push in the slightly More-Real direction i believe
