i realized if you clean it monthly it prolongs the fan life

I just discovered this on a new 2020 Razer Blade Base I bought today. They just made the damn back cover and grills too thin. When you pick up to carry the laptop you press down with your fingers or palm and deform the grills inwardly causing the grills to hit or even stop the fans from spinning. Pretty bad engineering if you ask me. Don’t tell me they did not test it before making this laptop in large quantities. Did they just have it sitting on a desk the whole time they were testing it? Pretty dumb.
Same thing happened to me just contact razer and show them a video because when I talked to razer they first thought that I was overloading my laptop but when showed them a video of my laptop they understood what I meant
And did you send it in to get it repaired? What’s the results
Arckanum I got it back a week later they replaced the fan so it basically sounds like new again
FivePercent same thing happened to me. I got it repaired and after a week the fan is broken
I sent it in. Swear to god... I returned it in my Alienware box from my M17! Haa. Can't wait for Razer to see THAT.

My ASUS ROG Zephyrus is quiet at idle but it sounds like a jet when gaming. But that’s ok.

The center of the inner cap comes loose I’m having the same problem with both of my laptops 15 by razer they can careless so sad. Just need to change the fans

it's already the second fault, the first was the touchpad. Never again... support during covid is a massacre.
Is this the base model? I had this type of issue before I switched to advanced model. Pretty damn annoying.

I sent it back to Razer a total of 3 times. Hasn’t failed again.

Hi please help me as I just got my first razer laptop. My fans noise are normal but I am curious when I touch the fan vent it touches the fan and makes that noise like you are pressing is that normal that it scrapes.??
Don't do that, because there is a small gap in between the fan and the metal. The reason why it's because the fan needs to spin. If it's touched it would just scratch the metal. The reason why this person did it is to show us that these blades are spinning.

@@hogman3543 yes, its normal. It's close to each other and if you touch it it will hit. But if it's like super sensitive like when ever you just barely touch it and it makes that sound then theres something wrong
