My dad had Billy and albert when I was a kid in the late 80s I fell in love with Billy's music then... at age 4 of 5.... the only time we were allowed to curse and swear was during the video. Dad would have a beer or 10 and it was billy connolly who taught me to curse and swear..... I've taken chunks of his mindset ever since..... including guitar, banjo and most of all the autoharp.... Legend of a man.
from 'billy and albert' live shows - the last song before everyone 'can just fuck off'😁 - after it he says 'goodnight and thank you very much'. beautiful sound and playing. The intro to the video had him playing 'Yootha's song' which was amazing too. One of these days i will own an autoharp on which i can play two songs!🥰
First heard this in the early 90's and thought it one of the most wonderful tunes. Thirty years on, listening now, I feel exactly the same about it. Thank you so much for posting this, have searched many times to find it. What a legend!.
If ever there was a Hobbit, sitting in his cosey hole, this is what I see. I've been looking for this piece ever since my video (yes, video TAPE) of ;Billy and Albert screwed up. (If you know, you know). Thank you for posting.

This was a song by Robin Williamson from an album called ‘A Glint at the Kindling’
