For those who think that 1974 is the "dead past", I was just teaching my Russian wife this song, because we had just driven past the "Infirmeeeery". When we stopped, there were several people walking past on their way to the fitba' (this being in Scotland), so I asked them to give her a rendition in actual Scots accent. Which they did. Two verses. Even the Scottish national anthem ("Flo'or o' Scotland") generally only gets one verse. The Englandshire anthem gets jeers and catcalls.

Wow. I've never felt so connected to the "universal power" from where we live. As energy travels around the universe, you start to recognize sibling energy forces. (I'm very grateful not to have had the obstacles you endured! Well, except from my Presbyterian upbringing, I've since found my way to a much higher level of enlightenment. If you could call it that. ) I've got the introverted streak, so I don't have the honor of my mouth living on the vibrations that escape from my brain. 😆 Well, most of the time anyway.
