Thank you! This message is right on time. I'm going through some beautiful old clothes that I never got to wear. This is motivating me to just wear the clothes and figure out where to wear them.
Your videos are always a treat for the senses, and thank you for all your hard work. You epitomize that chic, effortless, model-y, "polished casual," semi-boho look. You look very comfortable, but elegant! I'm trying to find the right balance of looking chic but also effortless like I didn't try too hard, but within the parameters of what looks good on my curvy, plus size body (not the easiest task). Adding something flowy, voluminous, and eye-catching is the natural thing to do, but that can be challenging when you don't want to make yourself look bigger. I can look nice-ish, but because I'm sticking to mostly form-fitting clothes that flatter my shape, my outfits can come off as either boring and basic or too sexy. The oversized trend that looks so high fashion and cool on many people doesn't work for me, and waist emphasis is usually a must. To elevate my outfits, I may either have to add volume and interest in very select places or invest in some high quality, beautiful accessories. Any thoughts and outfit ideas from plus size folks, particularly plus size romantics would be appreciated!
Hello from Northern Italy.I am from Perth.Have been living here for 30 years now.Italians most anyway love their outfits.I have learnt alot from my Italian friends.Yoi look great.Cheers to you keep your videos rolling.
Thank you for the reminder! I have a hard time with things fitting the way I want them to fit. I always want to save them for best. I never want to wear anything to work (I’m an art teacher) I don’t want to ruin them. I also don’t want to associate them with work, somehow it ruins the vibe. ❤u.
The saying "old habits die hard" has been applying to me as of lately, so I'm definitely feeling more inspired now to get back into playing with my more "fancy" pieces, which are still pretty casual in all honesty here. Thank you for sharing these tips and reminders, P! ❤
How do you take care of your clothes while wearing sunscreen 🧴? I see you also wear a lot of white 🤍 and black 🖤 how do you deal with the yellow stains from using sunscreen?😢
i mix the "play" & "return" maybe the new shoes look good with the outfit in the store, but are they as versatile as i'd hoped? i play with a new item & i might even return it in a week..
I try to return to Naomi b fashion they do not refund anymore only shop credit or exchange. Hard to know sometimes if you like the idem on in the shop you may be wearing the wrong shoes or top to know if you like it. Times are hard to waste money on something that ends up not right.
Thank you for watching! My posting schedule is all messed up. Next video will be on A Small Wardrobe this Friday! 💋
I always use the 'return rule'! If I'm unsure about something, I'll just buy it, but if I don't use it in those 30 days or so, it gets returned!
This is a great idea!
I don't think enough of us use this option! We forget about the pieces or tell ourselves we will wear them 'later'.
@@HowToStyleBasics yes so true! I no longer shop for ‘later me’ anymore, and I would consider it the same as the ‘fantasy self’.
I always tell myself this, but the chance I return something is pretty slim 😅

I'm loving the simple jewelry this year ❤
Would love more content where you 'fix' an outfit, like you did with the focal point-outfit. That was super helpful!

Great advice! I like the concept of pieces speaking to each other. Love how your sense of style has evolved over the years.
Thanks so much! 💙

Can I ask where the slouchy sling bag is from that you've got in blue and pink? I'm looking for one just like it!
