Another great video! I could relate to most of what you said. Having booked a Club Level Room (they're not all on the same floor, you just get club access), we've decided to not to do it again. Although they have discount cocktails, there's never anyone there except yourselves and a bartender; rarely fellow guests to converse with. Even though the food is nice, it's more of a grab'n go. The TV is always on, with kids watching. We kiddingly nicknamed the club room the babysitting suite. Yes, parents dump their kids there for some "alone time". Since we enjoy The Islands b'fast buffet daily, we find no need in booking club-level again. I really liked this video. Very informative.
Thank you for watching & stopping in to share your experience; I appreciate your kind & thoughtful words about our video. I loved reading about it. When we were there in December, things were a little bit different. I felt like they had a large selection for breakfast & afternoon snacks. The hot food in the evening was wonderful & they served different items every night. You are right about the TV always being on, but there were seldom kids sitting in front of it. During the evening dessert hour, they served complimentary beer, but there was only one person working there to hand things out. I will say that the Club Level Lounges are different in each of the premier resorts. Hard Rock has the smallest lounge with Royal Pacific being in the middle. Portofino Bay has a massive, refurbished lounge that is in fact 2 very large rooms. They offer different foods with many more options and at Portofino Bay there is plenty of space to tuck yourself in to your own little corner. Thank you again for stopping into share your perspective. I do like hearing what other people think about their experience in the Club Lounges & beyond. - Melissa
Which hotel has the best snacks/ food ? Portofino ? I just booked club level at Hard Rock, I like that lounge is on the same floor and you can take the drinks from the lounge room to the parks. My kids are asking me to cancel Hard Rock and book Royal Pacific or Portofino. From the videos I've seen Portofino has a lounge on a different floor
🤣 Oh my gosh, a fellow 'snack mule'! hahahaha. I'm so glad you can relate & I'm not alone. Thanks for watching & stopping in to leave a comment. - Melissa
@@Pixiedustadventures the people working in the lounge are incredibly nice and always checked to make sure everything was ok! This was the best staff i've ever encountered (and we've stayed at a lot of club levels).
When I stayed at this hotel we got club level for free. We payed for a normal room but there was multiple different story’s with the same room and we so happened to be on club level and it was brilliant ❤xx
Thank you for the bonus vid about Club Level🤩... I watched your 'room/lounge' tour first (from last year). I know at WDW, I've heard the Club Level isn't totally worth it because the hotels are so far from the parks - but at Universal, the Pacific hotel is a 10min walk! I've stayed there before and loved it, and am considering the Club level this time... my family loves snacks, haha. I heard that there are special Dining Reservation perks included, is this true? That they can reserve Day-Of at some restaurants for you and it's almost guaranteed? Or is that for Premier guests in general? I've never been able to get into Toothsome for dinner and would love to 🙂 Thanks!
Oh - when I say that the WDW parks are far from the hotels, I mean that if you're at Animal Kingdom park, but are staying at the Grand Floridian, then you're not exactly close enough to enjoy the happy hour. But at Universal, the three Premier hotels are next to the two theme parks (and not too far from Volcano Bay). Also, I should mention that for the cost comparison between Disney and Universal, the winner here is 100% Universal - because you get way better perks with Universal for a fraction of the price (i.e. Express Passes for everyone included)!
@@TamJoy I agree with your thoughts on Disney vs Universal. They are two totally different experiences now & people love them both for different reasons. - Melissa
Thank you for watching & stopping in to leave a comment. I'm glad our tours have been able to help you. The Club Level Concierge can sometimes assist you with dining reservations, but not always, especially for the popular restaurants like Toothsome. When I assist my guests in planning their vacations, we work on making dining reservations well in advance of their arrival. This is the best way to secure the locations that you want. Have a wonderful adventure! Melissa, Travel Advisor / owner - Pixie Dust Adventures
Hello first of all, lg from Germany..... I understand that correctly when you book the club level. That you only have breakfast is free or also have lunch/dinner? Or how can I hear it out. Does it mean that as I understood it you can take food with you, i.e. even allowed?
When staying in club level you will get a continental breakfast 7am - 10am, afternoon snacks 12pm - 3pm, hors d'oeuvres & complimentary beer & wine 5pm - 7pm, dessert hour 8pm - 9pm. There are drinks & snacks in the lounge throughout the day & you can take food with out from the lounge to your room or into the theme parks.
@ Thanks for the quick answer; with me a different resort has arisen. Some hotels didn't accept my credit card. The resort cabana bay already. Lg from Germany
Planning starts with complimentary, customized assistance, step by step planning emails & one person you can contact for all of your questions. For some of my VIP concierge clients I will include Universal Orlando gift cards in their package. Thanks for watching. Melissa
That's a good question. I'm not sure about the answer. I know sometimes you can request things that are not out on the tables. However, they do have specific hours for wine & beer in the evening. Also, when they hand your beer to you, they open it before they hand it to you. That is one thing that you can't stockpile in your room like other drinks. ;)
Thank you for watching & stopping in to leave a comment. At the time we were there they did have almond milk. If you have specific dietary needs, let them know; they are excellent at accommodating those types of things. Were you able to have the breakfast and make it to Hagrids on time? I'm worried we'll miss the opening if we stay for breakfast.
Yes, if you eat quickly or grab & go. The louge opened at 7am. Or stash in your room for consecutive days.
I know this is a bizarre question, Can I request a beer during lunch hours? They let me do that at Disney Before the pandemic.
