Thanks Andy. It was lovely but we didn’t really get to see much of it or enjoy the facilities because of the rain. Worth it for the express passes though.
So glad I found your channel as you're so far the closest representation of my family of five (two older boys and the youngest being a girl!). Been looking at a 5 night stay at Royal Pacific for the universal leg of our planned Florida trip for next year - looks great for the Express passes. However I have read that the put up bed is charged at $35 per night - did you have to pay this? Nervous about booking for 5 if we cannot be assured of the fifth bed, and certainly do not want to be paying more. Thanks.
Thank you so much and glad you are enjoying the vlogs. If you booked your room for 5 people then the price of the bed should be included although it should tell you in the booking confirmation. We booked via Travel Republic and it was included. When we got back to the room the extra bed was there. I’d suggest shopping around in various sites. You should be able to find one that has it included. It would be really bad if them to try to charge you extra at check in/ out for the bed if you booked and paid for a room for 5 people. I doubt they’d do that but you don’t need the stress of worrying about it. When next year are you going to Orlando? I hope you find some of the other videos useful. Let me know if you have any other questions.
FYI spoke to Attraction Tickets through whom was planning to book and they said the fifth bed was not included but could be provided by the resort for an extra daily charge. This was bad because like you say if you’ve booked for 5 and the room “sleeps 5” then you should have the bed! Will see if Travel Republic can do better. 👍
how exciting! The planning and researching is all part of it. Enjoy it all. We love Port Orleans but have only ever stayed in French Quarter. Riverside is beautiful. Orlando holidays are always full on, it pays to have a plan in place as so much time can be wasted just winging it. Even if you adjust it while you’re there. We did a Disney series in 2022 although we weren’t staying on site. It’s still worth checking it out though. Happy to help if you have any other questions.
Hi, Thanks for your video - been watching your adventures for a while. We are a family of 5 from the UK and are in Cabana Bay right now! Going home on Friday 😢. Just hope that we can get on a couple more rides at Universal today before we head home. We have had a great time and have also swam with the dolphins at Discovery cove. Not bumped into you yet! Enjoy the rest of your stay.❤
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! Hope you have had a wonderful time out there. Cabana bay looks brilliant- we had it booked before covid but obviously got cancelled. Would you recommend it?
Thanks for following along. We hope you’re having the best time! Enjoy every minute- the time goes so quick over there. Our trip was back in Feb. So been back home a while now. Can’t wait to get back though. How did you enjoy the dolphin swim at Discovery Cove?
Discovery cove was amazing (it reminded us of Mexico!) - we have had a great time and have even seen 2 Tesla Cybertrucks at the Hotel. Also have lots of memories & photos. Thanks again
Thanks for watching Alaister. You can request the 5th sleeper when booking or from guest services. They had it delivered to our room just after check in. We put it up at the bottom of the 2 queen beds. Worked great! Are you staying there for the whole time?
Thanks for the quick reply! We are 7 nights at Disneys Boardwalk then our second week is at the Royal Pacific in a water view room. Not been in 5 years to Universal so all the kids are now able to ride nearly all that is on offer. Really enjoyed your video.
@@alaistercouttssounds like a great trip! I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time. Check out the rest of our Universal series if you haven’t already. We all loved Universal and can’t wait to go back.
Great video, were doing the same as you in August, 1 night stop for the Express Passes. How does the parking work there? I see you left your luggage in the Car, think thats a great idea rather than putting into storage whilst you shoot off to the park.
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! It’s great to get the express passes and experience a premier resort. We just paid for 1 nights parking which was $33 and that got us both days as they charge per night 😉 We walked to the parks and got the water taxi which was lovely. Enjoy your stay in August. What date are you there? We are heading back out there in August too xx
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 Amazing... We arrive Aug 1st for 15 Nights, staying at Sheraton Vistana on I-Drive, however doing the 1 night @ LRP half way through. The plan was to Uber to LRP, however seeing you mention the luggage & parking i think we will do that now, lot less hassle too.
Thanks for watching and subscribing, we appreciate it. Parking was easy, just drive into the car park and take a ticket. We paid when we left. Yeah it was handy to leave cases in the car and leave the car there until we were done in the parks. You get until the evening of your check out day so well worth it. When are you there in August? We are back in August staying at Surfside.
Thank you a brill vlog so informative too . Just wish to be able to go however watching your vlogs makes us feel like we are there .
Thanks Tina. Glad to take you all along for the ride!
Wow, great resort

Thst’s disappointing. Shop around on other sites and I’m sure you’ll have more luck. You’ve got plenty of time. Let me know how you get on.
We go in a couple of weeks first time at this resort, enjoyed your vlog found it very helpful thank you.
Thank you for the watching and subscribing. Hope you have a great time at Universal 😀

I have 3 kids and i dunno if stay in this one or portofino hotel i see is in construction?
Both resorts are beautiful. I don’t think you are in the hotel enough for construction to matter. I’d go with the theme you like most 👍
We are also a family of 5 from Scotland staying at RP in July, what was offered by the hotel for the 5th bed? Thanks
