  • Good Day Garden Enthusiasts!!
Due to the seasons changing we are forced back inside to get our "gardening fix" so to speak! The nice thing is all my indoor plants grew a lot over the summer and now is a good time to divide & transplant them. One of my new favorite house plants is the DEVILS BACKBONE!! That's right folks...it also goes by Jaccobs Ladder, Slipper Plant, Zig Zag Plant! How confusing, Right?
Well if you search how to divide this plant you will find tuturial after tuturial on how to propagate it but none on how to divide the plant! So i show you how to do both in this video...
The propagation portion is in 2 parts starting @3:15 & 7:10 minute mark
The dividing portion is @ the 5 minute mark
    As always thanks for watching!!!

Thanks for this great video! I had no idea you could use aloe as a root stimulator!

You are more than welcome! I was shocked too when I found out that aloe works well for rooting hormone!! Happy Spring Planting:)

I would think so but I haven’t personally tried! If you try it and it just rots the stem try using a glass of water with tinfoil or cling wrap on top and just put the stem in so it’s above the water! That should work!
