  • Learn how to grow devil's backbone from cutting easily - You can grow the cuttings in just plain water but this is not the only way to grow devil's backbone from cutting. Definitely you can grow in soil as well but I really enjoy looking at the roots growing slowly over time. So, if you are like me, you are going to enjoy if you try this method. Anyway, it's a simple process and please let me know if you have any questions and I would be glad to help you. Thank you very much for watching the video, Happy Gardening :-)

    Hi, I have rooted my devil's backbone. I want to keep it in water, how much water should be in the glass? Is fertilizer needed if grown in water? Thanks for your informative video!

    • @footballedits15
      @footballedits15 2 года назад

      No fertilizer is needed if grown in water , I think u can change the water after 3-4 days (or once in a week).

    • @carolgreenhill5684

    I had done this procedure 5 days ago..Today I was about to change the water but there was no water at all in the glass it had dried up completely.. I poured the water again ..so does the roots come or die 🙄

    • @carolgreenhill5684
      @carolgreenhill5684 2 года назад

      Try to check it every couple of days. You will know if it dies, it will probably rot if it does.

    • @Ziyana_Zenn

      I saw somewhere it says you must let the cutting dry for a few days and then put it in soil.

    • @carolgreenhill5684
      @carolgreenhill5684 2 года назад +1

      Let cutting dry dip in hormone powder. Place in soil. Put pot on top of heating pad on low. Only water small doses occassionally
