How can anyone criticize this amazing woman? When I saw hundreds of those maggots I wanted to run from the screen. She mentioned she gets so much hate bc she got inspired by Auri. Why can’t we love and appreciate them both for what they do? Mack from MMC said he the ppl he knows that do their jobs can only be counted on one hand. These ppl who criticize would NEVER lift a finger to do this work not ONCE in their lives. We need all the Mack’s, Barbies and Auris that we can. These losers who criticize are the first to complain last to contribute. Thank you for the inspiration Barbie. You are so appreciated and so very kind ❤

I can’t criticize Barbie. I think she’s great. I’m having a little trouble not being mad at the situation though. Seeing those toys mixed in with garbage and the maggots makes me upset. I know a young mother that was suffering through mental illness and addiction and her house never looked like this. But her children were still removed from the home because she became homeless. I know there are other things in play that we can’t possibly know or see but my heart breaks for the kids in these situations. They shouldn’t live this way. But having kids removed from their families is also heart breaking. If your in a position to help a friend in a time of need please do. I’m not saying become an enabler or a doormat. But just some humanity is all someone needs at times. ❤

@@lfuentes4098I think what annoys me about people like this is she has a lovely, modern apartment underneath the filth and she needs to be doing SOMETHING to prove she's going to make an effort to keep it at least reasonable from now on. There's no point in all Barbies hard work and kindness if the place is just the same again within weeks, which I suspect could very well happen. Then, none of the underlying issues here are solved or addressed such as child welfare and treating underlying mental illnesses.
I think depression is used as an outright excuse these days also and these new apartments have been come by all too easy. Our parents in the 70s and 80s starting married life and kids often had next to NOTHING, my mum was like that but she always said its a matter of self respect. She grew up as one of 14 kids and they had virtually nothing, but what they DID have was maintained and kept scrubbed clean.

Barbie is just a godsend. There are so many issues we don't know of - whether it be depression, mental illness, alcoholism, etc. And she gives these folks a fresh start. Maggots.... oh heck no. I couldn't have done that.

Imagine if some disease happened to your life and took away every comforting thing in your life. Stole your life from you and the comfort of your home from you. Then imagine reaching out to this amazing cleaning lady who agrees to come and actually remove the unwanted, the unpleasantness and basically gives you your life back. Gives you a clean, tidy, organized, comfortable place again. Can anyone imagine the joy of that? That joy is what Barbie, and others like her, are giving people. It's a gift that has no price tag but has great value. Thank you, Barbie and to your partner who do this work and give people a sense of comfort and joy again. 😊 ❤ 🙏
That is actually a lovely apartment. I hope the mom gets help with the drinking problem and mental health. That child needs a stable and clean environment. I hope the mom is able to maintain the home now that you've tackled the most difficult part.

Love watching cleaning videos! If I may, I think if the homeowners would pick up the trash everyday and not let it accumulate, that would be half the battle. Place a waste basket in every room, take out when full, empty half full ones to top off the bags. Then put all dirty clothes in big baskets, every day, set 1 day aside each week and wash them no matter what! 5 minutes per day to throw out/pick up trash, 5 minutes to pick up clothes. Who doesn't have 10 minutes. Even kids can do this while mom works on dishes, wiping down kitchen. If only they could make themselves do these simple things, just stand up, move and it will soon become a habit. 15 minutes every single day, set a timer, see how much you can do in 15 per day. Then put in 20 minutes/day x mom and kids. Soon they will make a race to see how much they can accomplish. Eating dinner and retiring to the sofa is not the answer. God bless all who suffer , please, just 5 minutes per day! Hugs!

I don't throw trash on floors etc but I tend to put dishes in sink an leave them a few days. I have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to use communal laundry. I'm hoping to use my clean slate to declutter 💜🇦🇺

I'm wondering if they are still living here or are staying away for a while, because although there are some kids toys there isn't much kids stuff there. The maggots I can handle, but those spiders and egg sacks! Omg 😱 I'd need help with all of that lol 😅. I was thinking about what I would do in that situation if I did not have a Barbie to help me. I guess I would start by filling one garbage bag every day with just trash until I could see the floor and sit on the furniture. Then I would start on the kitchen to make it safe. 🤷♀️. It is just so overwhelming by the time it reaches that state. You do need professional help.

Barbie I hate spiders too! I like gardening and don’t mind roly polys, beetles of all sorts, and other crawlers. But hate spiders.
My mom kept a home like this. I watch these kind of videos bc it feels so hopeful that others are getting the help I so desperately wanted for her.
These people don’t cook, they only buy takeout 😮 The condition of the house with so many alcohol bottles and trash on the floor, says these poor children living here will not be taught worthwhile lessons needed in life. Sad.

Thanks for helping. I know in an earlier episode, you explained the ladies mental health situation, but what makes me sadder is that it seems her and her child must be socially isolated too… you’d think a friend or family member would’ve stepped in to lend a hand before it got this bad. Very sad.
Woah. Barbie just found a kitchen knife on the floor, with a child in the house. Thank goodness there was a cover on it I really feel for the family that the home got this dangerous. I hope they have help to keep it a bit clear now. Wish them the best.

I don't have trash on floors ir empty food containers etc but I am overwhelmed by stuff. My flat got flooded and was shocked by the amount of stuff I've packed. Painting now finished and last of carpet is being laid now. I need to stay motivated to declutter and be able to breathe again.I have PTSD and depression but am trying. 🇦🇺💜

And then to watch you systematically bring everything to order, it amazes me every time. Such a cute apartment but I could never have guessed it was hiding behind all that mess. I have had my 19 month old granddaughter for the past four days while her parents went to an out of state wedding and my house is totaled. Of course I decide to now redo her room, putting up a daybed, new curtains, bedding and I am having the family for Thanksgiving so I need to accomplish a lot in the next 3 days but I will plug along and get it done. This home has come lovely furniture.
Because toys were not put away after use, sooooo many became useless and had to be thrown away. So much wasted money for this poor mama!
One thing that we all need to remember is that cleaning and being tidy is a daily job, an hour by hour job. Also, with kids, you need to help them, then teach them, the value and purpose of putting away their toys. But mom needs to be on top of it always. If so, it’s actually easy. It’s when it gets away from you that it becomes a burden.
