Really appreciate your detailed guides on the R5C. I don’t currently own the R5C, but have been considering and your videos have helped me understand its capabilities. Thank you.
In the manual for the R5C I see: "When slow & fast motion recording is activated, if using lenses not compatible with autofocus." What determines if a lens is compatible with autofocus? Also, if the lens IS compatible with autofocus does that mean AF will work at 120fps, and does that include tracking?
Could you please help me with the following issue: my Canon R5C camera shuts down during video recording, the LCD screen goes dark, and the viewfinder also goes dark. When I switch the power to "OFF", the camera does not turn off. I have to remove the battery and reinsert it, after which the camera works for a while and then freezes again. This is very frustrating. What should I do in this situation?
So this is probably not what you're going to want to here, but I think you're going to have to call Canon support about that one. None of what you're describing sounds like something that would be caused by a setting or something like that. Especially the not turning off when you switch the power switch to off and having to pull the battery to get it to shut down.

I look forward to your following videos, this one certainly got my focus haha
Very good and helpful video. Thank you very much.
Can you make a video on Slow and Fast motion autofocus settings ?
That's for the suggestion, I'll put that on the todo list.
That's exactly what I want to know too.
Sometimes I forget to switch settings and mess up... Actually all the time 😂
You are the missing canon manual. 🙏

I have that broadly on the list of things to cover in this mini-series, so it will be something coming in a future video.
