@@aatupoikajarvi3988 I went with the hair triggers because my triggers are different colors on my two controllers. Beware though with the hair triggers if you accidentally remove the length of movement too far down you'll cease running in combat. So keep an eye on how far you tighten them.
Really good and thorough comparison. I play PC but I found both system genuinely fascinating. I hear about these things a lot but didn't know much about them.

I have a 4ps pro with the standard triggers and it works pretty good for me but have been really looking into the digital triggers because I've been really enjoying warzone lately and feel that these would make a huge difference. I am just scared of the durability of them. The paddles make slide cancels so nice! I use left paddle for crouch/slide and right for jump!

@@tonyflamingosucks6590 - I play competitive games that virtually require you to play with a scuf or other modded controller else you play crab claw which can give you carpal tunnel and arthritis because your hand naturally doesn't sit in that position.

They are super awesome. I don't think I can ever go back.
I have an elite 2 as well, since it came out. Good controller but having some stick drift issues. Kinda wanting to try the ps4 platform again and see how these paddles feel. I mostly play Fortnite so idk whether digital over bumper triggers yet.

Tomas Villegas I cant wait to see the difference. Most of the time when I die I deserve it and a controller won’t help. But sometimes that trigger pull feels like if I could get it quicker like a digital bumper I’ll get those kills.

Does the gun play benefit outweigh the difficulty handling the vehicles with the digital tap buttons?
Steel Curtain Gaming the digital tap triggers are perfect. They will just have the vehicle go 100% as soon as you click them. They are my fav triggers on any controller and I use the digital triggers and bumpers

Trigger control system, is good for me. I sometimes switch to platformers and racing games, even though I do minecraft combo.
On cod I use R1 and L1 as aim and trigger so that way its digital. R2 and L2 are hair trigger set up so I use that for racing games best of both worlds. You can change the controller layout in cod.

I got my impact on February 12th 2020 on February 16th less than a week r1 is acting like it pushed all the time so I'm shipping it back today for a refund all the bad reviews are true I figured I'd give then a try anyways but it broke in less than a week. I'm just going too buy ps4 controller back button for $30.
@Bruh Why? I cant use the back button for this issues because the button is acting like it's being pushed all the time so using back button wouldn't help unless the button didnt work at all than I could use rear buttons. I've had the controller out of the warranty but since I've only had it 4 days and it already failed I'm not taking any chances on a $250 controller plus I have to pay return shipping. At this point it's not worth keeping now I'll use the stock controller with the back button. Have a good day
bryan young you’re very true there mate, I just got my 4PS scuf with both digital triggers which I like but I find it hard to play on fortnite but other games ie the division it’s amazing but yes should of got L1/R1 DIGITAL and L2/R2 ADJUSTABLE

the trigger adjustment also increases how much resistance there is... just fyi... If you have an Impact without the digital (like myself) I'd go Battle Beaver controller with their triggers and bumpers because I'm sick of the damn paddles... paddles are simple imperfect... So having both would cover all your gaming needs imo... (if you prefer any controller with a digital trigger)

I was driving in cod warzone wonderin y i cudnt drive full speed lol i play on astro c40 controller for ps4 with trigger stops so i only have to push it down half way to shoot but sucks for driving i have to flick off trigger stops wen i hop in a vehicle
Adjust the sensitivity on your laptop to where it’s 100% when you have the triggers stops on.

I play apex, Overwatch, and coldwar and debating which triggers and bumpers to get, however I use R1 and L1 to shoot and aim so I’m not sure if I should get any
(I currently have a infinity 4ps pro, I’ve had it for 4 to 5 years and it’s on its way out, it just keeps randomly screenshotting and saving clips, which is annoying, but I’m not surprised as I’ve had it for so long)

I bought it cause I’m in the army, and boy life gets hella boring. Be weeks where we don’t do nothing. Legit show up to first formation and good rest of the day. I just chill in room and play cod all day. Only problem I have with mine is the right analog gets stuck when pushing up, but nothing wrong cause you never have to take thumb off the stick anyways because of the paddles. Now having the 4PS and having it stick would be a no go.

I can only add digital tap to the bumpers it says
I have both, if you play warzone get the digital triggers coz when you're in a vehicle you just can't reach max throttle with the adjustable triggers.
You can play flipped but the contrlloer seems to be designed with l2 r2 as aim and fire, paddles are gonna feel so far to reach when you play flipped
I play with trigger stops now that activate a little quicker then the stock L2/R2 and vehicles are fine. Seems the adjustable would work just as well?
Hey. What about Red dead online/anthem, overall RPGS? are the digital good for it or is it preferable to have normal adjustable triggers/bumps.
Why can’t you go full throttle
That would be about both triggers being partially depressed at the same time. You could still get to full speed but could only have RT tightened if you plan on driving.

Appreciate ya wish there was some adjustability for r2 and L2 on the digital tho seeing how I crouch with r1 and jump with L1 and shoot with r2 and aim with L2 lame I hate having long fingers lol
You should give crouching and jumping a back paddle assignment. It'll take some practice, but might be worth it. 👍

I got high performance but i mean i know you might not be asking me but high perfomance feels good and grippy but you should also buy gamer grip if you wan that specific one.

do you find the adjustable hair triggers are still better for firing semi auto faster? because they require less pressure so it's like your trigger finger can vibrate on it easier if you know what i mean
I would not recommend tap triggers if you drop your controller because I had digital triggers and the first drop over extended the trigger and I have to wait to get it repaired
Hey man they give you the key for a reason my man. The adjustments are so fine that you flicking it with your finger is slowly destroying it. I know man not being lazy sucks but you have nice stuff so take care of it. I wish I had a controller like that lol. I would hang it on my wall as a trophy.

I dropped my scuf the day I got it and my digital triggers stopped working , sent in for repairs but I feel like its still not workin as it should.
My right digital bumper isn’t quite responsive. The system becomes repetitive, the hand brake on gta for me is R1, I can’t even drive forward!
Digital tap is made only for FPS games. So for games like Forza, Need for Speed, etc. the digital tap won't work. It's best that you get the adjustable triggers for playing all other games

Blue controller is unadjustable with both digital triggers and bumpers, other one is adjustable trigger stops L2 R2 and non-digital, normal L1 R1.
I'm huge into shooters... But even playing like DMCV revving Nero's sword would be in-optimal with digital... and those games definitely have advantages to making crazy videos when being played with an "elite" controller as well...almost all games do.... I'm just getting ready to try BB out... If scuf got rid of their paddles (maybe now that Corsair bought them out) and tried something better. Its close to next gen and Type C being the Standard going forward... I'm not sure what to do... There's simply not one controller that has is all. Nice 1st party feel on the buttons... responsive, extra inputs on the back of grips... that doesn't lack in the positioning, how it feels etc... I thought maybe the Razor Raiju had it all... then heard their buttons felt cheap and plasticy? I dunno...
OPgam3r I feel your pain. It took me a year and a half to hit that BUY button on a Scuf. There's so many options out there. I can say I've really enjoyed these controllers.

I really have grown to like the Digital Trigger more than the adjustable. Less travel in the button and more control. They are terrible for driving tho and you can't really get around that.

Frosti This is not digital triggers this is hairpin triggers. I have spoken with Scuf today they have stopped doing the digital triggers until after the covid 19 virus has been resolved due to less people at their company working.

Sometimes the Scuf website undergoes updates and that option disappears. Try again on another day.
On the website it only gives me the option of digital tap bumpers and not triggers. Will it automatically apply digital tap triggers if I select digital tap bumpers or is this a glitch with the website?

It's pretty durable, you don't have to worry about pressing two hard.

I think you can but I won't recommend buying the scuf impact because the back paddle design sucks ass and breaks way too easily
My impact just started going at 5 month mark, legit it trying to be Rambo shooting non stop. Not even pulling the trigger and it has the gun blazing. The trigger itself is fine just like the hole board is trashed or something. Pretty much useless when it’s like this. My old 4ps last 4 years and for this for 5 months is just not good for reliability. Gonna see how they handle this.
Sounds like it has digital triggers. The mouse switch spring plate is bent down making constant contact to activate the switch. Either take it apart and bend the metal spring plate up or get a new mouse switch.
ANYONE OUT THERE DECIDING BETWEEN THESE TWO TRIGGERS I HAVE A STORY FOR YOU. I ordered my first scuff infinity 4ps pro like 2-3 years ago. it’s amazing. it has the hair triggers and i only play cod on game battles. i decided to try the other digital trigger system for Modern Warfare. it does not work. i have a pc and ps4 and tried on both does not work. send it out to be fixed, got it back, still didn’t work. So I totally recommend the hair triggers.

When I turn the the trigger stops on I can’t aim or shoot but when I turn it off it works.
They may be too tight. Try loosen them.
