I absolutely love this app. Use it everyday. Plug headphones into it and play some hi-gain stuff when the kids are asleep. Kick ass app.

Used this with a focusrite itrack dock recorded into cubasis as an inter audio app .....best sound I’ve ever had bass sounds incredible too it’s just soooooo good if you are at home

I've been using this app for a while. I would totally pay $5 per song or something if this had option to play along with high quality backing tracks as well.

Hi Marty, how do you get it to play through speakers? I can only get headphones to work through my irig. I have a Bluetooth speaker that can be used with a suitable lead but I'm getting no sound. Cheers and keep up the great work.

Hey Marty, I am using the IRIG HD2 with tone bridge. I was using it with headphones and my amp and while it would work fine for a while, I am occasionally getting some nasty screeching sounds that continue if I switch pedals. Any ideas?

i don't know what went wrong but mine doesn't sound like it's got any effect, even the volume is reduced more than half. was it due to a defective iRig or because of cheap guitar?

hello, i am new in guitar playing and i am interessed in to buy irig 2 and use app tonebridge but i dont know, if i connect it with guitar and combo if i choose song for exmp. metallica enter sandman if i have to turn everything on combo off or i doesnt matter and it ll automaticly play that sound of song. No, you plug your guitar into the adaptor. Here's how it looks: guitar > adaptor (iRig, Jam etc.) > iPad > speakers or headphones

Question, once this is available via iPhone, how do you then connect to a speaker system? Because the audio jack will already be used by the iRig. I'm guessing you would need to use a bluetooth speaker?

Hey Marty, can you connect your guitar and the tonebridge app to your amp, instead of speakers? I have an aux port in my amp so i tried just plugging my phone into my amp that way without the irig but that didn't seem to work, would i need to get the irig 2 to do something like this?
Andrew it won’t work I’ve connected the irig2 to my iPad and then the iPad to an amp aux in and nothing.

Tonebridge has presets for electro-acoustic guitars too! Just type “acoustic” in Search to find the presets.

It runs on every iPad with iOS 8 or later.
Right, but how well does it run? Garage Band's latest update made it almost useless to me with the latency.
Z0L0N if you have an iRig, Jam or other device, then you will not feel any latency. We tested it on iPad 2, and it was good. Can't guarantee this, though, I hope, you understand.
I have the original iRig. Will give it a shot later today.

Wow. Sounds infinitely better than the presets you get with GarageBand. Is there an option to record?
Not yet, but we're working on Audiobus and audio unit support, so you will be able to use presets in other apps soon. Stay tuned!
Hey! We made an Inter-app audio and Audiobus support, so now you can use Tonebridge in GarageBand and record with it! Check out the App Store. And, yes, it now works on iPhone :-)

northof50now sorry, no Mac support for now. Tonebridge works on iPad and iPhone only. Working on Mac version though!
I know making the App Android compatible would a hassle, but if it's possible to do it in the future i'd be forever in your debt.

Yeah 4-6 gb of ram and snap dragon 805s and up on most flagships is not big enough. Do you just throw info out there to sound smart?
Michael Collings it's not about processor or ram, it's about the sound hardware that creates latency. Google it if you want to know more.

No android for now since the system has a poor audio support. But anything may change, and Tonebridge may come on android, who knows.

I'm using a basic guitar adapter but I believe you could literally plug it right in with a cable adapter.

I tried this way too, plugged the guitar to the headphones jack with the adapter, but when I turned the volume up, "Headphones" appeared on the screen, and no volume came out. Do you happen to know what's the problem here?
