This is the best guitar app around.
Thanks, Yorcen!
You're the best guitar app around.
:)
I guess it won't work on a Macbook Pro right using OSX Snow Leopard? I still use that.
MICHAEL DAVIS it used to work on my old macbook pro, still runs on my new mac
Its amazing how this an irig and tonebridge sounds better than using guitar rig with an audio interface
I love this app. The fact that it is free (and no in-app purchases either) I almost unbelievable. I'm waiting for the catch, but I haven't seen one.
No catch, just pure fun! :-)
I know it’s weird, you’ll keep looking for a non existent catch
I've downloaded today, and I thought: "so what?" haha funny thing, 4 years have past and it's still good and free.
@@charliebrown1134 how about ads?
@@hellothere_24 nope I have the app today, works like a charm with zero catches
FINALLY a worth watching video, straight to the point, well edited, well explained and a superb player.
And the app is just delicious.
Thank you for this!
And now they added a feature where you can make any tone you want. I love it
Great video Sean - very informative and useful. Many thanks 😊
Can't wait for my Laney mini to get here so I can try out this app!
What pickups are used on the guitar, it looks very interesting?
Recommend everyone to test out this app. Sound best on a irig hd2 and better.
Great review, thanks!
Can someone please tell me about what model of Suhr guitar he's playing? The pickup combination is very interesting.
Thanks!
Used to use Bandlab for mobile amp stuff. But this is sick! Just downloaded, can't wait to use it. How's the latency?
Awesome!!! Thanks for showing us
Thanks for checking out this video Gina!
What guitar interface did you use for tonebridge app? if it was guitar link, does it have an audio latency?
Hi. Why dont you have the feedback sounds? There is no noise. What interface are u using? Tnx sir.
it definitely a high tech app thanks alot for that
It’s really awesome....never expected that!!
It is awesome! Thanks for watching.
you guys have nailed some great tones for IOS, and thats compared to other sims available currently for IOS etc. I am amazed how nice the tones recreate the actual sound recorded. The EVH stuff is spot on and best thing is when I take the audio out into fx return on my Mesa DR head, I have a HUGE combination of tones available, keep up the great work. I also wanted to mention that using this with the new IRig HD 2, you can take the signal straigt to your amp or amplifier device etc.
Thanks for your feedback, great that you like the app! Keep rocking!
Hey Man, how I think you are an expert, can you tell me if its a good idea to use this app with Line 6 Stageforce Monitor. Thanks.
The plugin for logic or apple things doesn't work though, unless someone knows how to fix this problem?
Great STUFF
This brings me up to almost to tears
can i record the sound direct to my ipad camera.? when i hit the record button from camera, the sound was bypass without the effect
I’ve been using this as a plug-in for GarageBand and it gives a HUGE array of new sounds for recording.
How do u record with garage band
@@lilAciddread
Do you mean using this plugin? It gets installed into GarageBand as a plug-in that you can select. You can modify the sounds from within GarageBand, as well.
How do i see it in garage band on my phone i got a iphone 11 btw
I want to record samples using different presets in tonebridge
@@lilAciddread
I apologize, I’m not sure on an iOS device. I’ve been using GarageBand on a Mac.
hey how did you record your guitar?
How do you record guitar phrases using this app? Do you need a third party app?
Can you use other apps like songster in the background?
Im aware that you cant use usb soundcard on android with this app but is there someone out there who tried it already?
Usb soundcard plus android plus tonebridge app.
I want that guitar!!!
Hi guys.. i try connect to my amps.. but humming.. any solution for this? Thanks
I don’t have an Irig or anything like that but is it possible for me to plug my phone into a focusrite interface to use tone bridge?
Does this thing work on acoustic electric guitar?
That guitar is just awesome!
You're awesome!
Do.i need irig for this to work?
Very cool. Wondering if something like this could be used in a live band setting? If so, how would you do it as far as gear needed? I'm guess this is good for at home or perhaps recording but not in a LIVE band situation.
Good question! Yes, this is primarily designed for at-home personal use. Maybe someone here can find a way to translate it to a live setting???
It is possible, see my channel
How to connect this apps to your video recording? Thanks
what tablet you use?
Nice pick up
I almoat forgot that I was subscribed to you guys... what happen with neal?
Dude, where to you get that Suhr? I've never seen that model before.
Which interface should I buy for this???? Apogee Jam???? The others got horrible reviews
Can you connect this to an amp though? I have a computer with the app, could I input my guitar to the computer app and output that to the amp?
I use Irig 2 interface hooked up to my ipad and the irig 2 has an output to amp
Can this app run through usb
What’s the hook up from guitar to iPad. Are u playing thru an amp. Be specific with visuals please
Irig
Esse app é perfeito !!!!😍
Junior Maru como faz para usar? Liga o instrumento no celular com algum cabo? Qual tipo de cabo?
Ilove that app
How can I record tone bridge on bandlab apl
can this app be use with the computer instead of the iPad or iPhone? thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
I use irig stomp and iPad Pro bit for Some reason when I turn the device in it’s turning the volume down a lot going to the Amp
We won't be able to troubleshoot for you via this comment section. You might need to contact support for the iRig.
So does this just play through the iPad or can I connect it to my amp or something?
Supported devices are irig, irig 2, irig hd. Sadly no irig hd 2. But yes, you can do both. With amp or iPad. Irig does not have an amp output but it has a 3.5 mm jack output, so if you would buy irig (around 4-5$) and an adapter (3.5 mm to classic jack) (a good one will cost you about 3-7$) you will be good to connect to amp
@@nocapmajor Thank you
Tvg Gaminz where can you buy an irig for 5$?? I’ve only seen them for like 20$
Hi Guys, I am about to buy an irig however if I would go with an irig pro would this still be compatible please? Thanks Guys for this!
iRig Pro is not only fully compatible with Tonebridge, but is also a great choice because of it's amazing sound quality!
How to connect sir?
this is an awesome app.. cant stop playing it.... it would be even more awesome if they zero down the latency withing the app/software.
We’re on the solution of zeroing down the latency. In iOS, the latency is small enough to play comfortably though 🙂
Best app ever!!! So frustrated that I didn’t discovered it 5 years ago
Thanks for downloading the app!
Is there any thing I can use to connect my guitar to my phone that is cheaper than an irig? They seem too expensive for just this.
Kismer Music it's not really expensive if you think about it....your getting all these pedals and you can play just using your phone....hell I got five guitar pedals and I am sure every one of my pedals was at the very least $120.00 so the irig is $99.00 and you get all these effects and can use it to practice with on your phone....it's a killer great deal! So I paid about $500 for 5 pedals and irig gives you dozens of pedals for free....it's a great deal.
does it work with any amp that has an aux? I know you need a special cable
Irig and aux
Thanks.
Thank you!
Great how do you get this out of the earbuds and into a speaker?
I use Irig 2 interface hooked up to my ipad and the irig 2 has an output to amp
Can you record with garage band or anything on ios device ?
Yes
Jeez how did I miss this app ?
Can I use midi controller bluetooth and expression Pedal?
Not now, but we’re working on the support of MIDI controllers, so you will be able to switch pedals with your bluetooth midi controller. Stay tuned! You can follow @tonebridgeapp on Twitter to get the latest news 😉
Man this app is awesome. Proof that there is happiness in the world.
We're glad you like it!
there are problem with the latency
Funciona con el interfaz behringer
They getting there like really
Before I buy the VX is there a way for the sound to come out of my amplifier? Perhaps plugging the ipad to the amplifier along with the guitar will do that, I don't know, I need an answer for this.
mildlymenacingmeem i have the irig 2 HD and two guitar cables.....so one cable goes into the irig and guitar and the other cable goes to irig2 and your amp so yeah you can do it and for a speaker you can just plug in the headphone jack into a speaker.....I haven't tried this yet but I also have an 80 watt....hi fi blue tooth speaker I am thinking I can turn blue tooth on and connect with my Hifi speaker and really Rock the house with 80 watts
Yep, every adapter has an output port, so you can use it to plug in your headphones or connect it to your monitors/amp/combo. Tonebridge sounds awesome through the amp (check out the video, Sean Halley uses an amp there too)
Thank you 70s paul rudd
Will it work with an electrified ukulele?
Of course.
It will even work with an electrifiesmd banana, as long as it has soundoutput.
Mate, can you please tell me...Once the Tonebridge app is loaded on my iPad and I'm all wired with an interface, speaker, etc. Do I still need to be connected to the internet to use it. Will it work offline. Thank you..
It works offline as well, you just need to use a handful of pedals so they are cached to your mobile device. I play mostly offline anyway, but to access new sounds you gota plug into the wifi.
@@CoachSludge Thanks mate. I appreciated your answering my question...
Still confused on how you get noise to come out of an amp or stereo system? Anyone?
You can use any cable. Just connect its one side to where you connect your headphones, and its second side to where you plug in your guitar.
I use an iRig HD2. You plug the guitar into the iRig, you plug the iRig into your iPhone or iPad. You also plug an amp or headphones into the iRig for your output sound. iRig is powered by the iPhone or iPad through the lighting port. Simple as that.
Alex Bernadino No... why would you even think that? If you have the right model irig, you plug both your guitar and iPhone into one end, and on the other end you connect it to either an amp, a speaker, a stereo system or a mixing board.
So i want to order something like a irig, but can you still get the sound out of the amp while using tonebridge?
We haven't tested the app with an iRig yet.
I use Irig 2 interface hooked up to my ipad and the irig 2 has an output to amp
do i need amplifiers to use this or this is the amplifier?
Software is an amplifier.
what device you use to connect the guitar to the ipad?
it's any guitar adapter like iRig or Apogee Jam.
Does the sound come out of the device or can you make the sound come out of an amp? if so, how?
The sound comes out the device.
I use Irig 2 interface hooked up to my ipad and the irig 2 has an output to amp
hi,how do i record using tonebridge?
Do you use GarageBand?
How do you record with garage band?
@@vitro7970 how do you record with garage band
Does anybody know if it’s possible to use these exact tones (from the pedals) from Tonebridge with the GarageBand build in guitars? I know that you can add the Tonebridge App within the guitar section of GarageBand but with this added the guitars sounds totally different than the Tonebridge pedal presets… I ain’t have a real guitar so I would love to use some of the awesome pedal presets in Tonebridge while jamming along with the GarageBand guitars….
This is a great question! Might be a Q for apple.
It is. Just connect Tonebridge as Audio Unit (search YT for a tutorial, there is one).
@@t1germetal thx for the advice... I can add the tonebridge app as a audio unit but as soon as I activate tonebridge, the sounds always (!) has a strong reverb in it, like it has been recorded in a church or something. And this even when I set the Garage Band lever of echo and reverb to 0 ... I just dont know how to fix it.... The "master of puppets" preset in tonebridge for example sounds no way close to the sound that I hear when I try this preset directly in the tonebridge app ... In the app it sounds crisp but in Garage Band it sounds like it is far away :-/ what a pity...
What is the sound like on P.A. speakers? Or high quality speakers?
I like questions, but i don't listen to them
You'll sound just like Eddie Van Halen.
Delay & cut off sound..
Please help.
How do you get it plugged into an amp ?
I use Irig 2 interface hooked up to my ipad and the irig 2 has an output to amp
Does this connect to the guitar amp?
You can buy a guitar adapter and with a cable you can connect it with your amp!
I have a i rig but when I use the tone bridge app I get a lot of feed back
It's common for iRigs that use a headphone jack to give a lot of feedback. Do your iRig use a headphone jack for connection?
Евгений Лысый hey man yes !! Mine is with jack . How can I solve the problem ? Please Tell me :))
How to record your music in this ap???, cant believe they didn`t put a rec on this...
You can use GarageBand and open this like a plug in, that way you can record

Please, can someone tell me what model of guitar is that Suhr?
It's a custom Classic that John and the lads built ten years ago. It has a custom vintage Charvel profile for the neck, and the SSC system under the pickguard.
@@seanhalleyguitar Thanks! It's awesome 😍
What guitar is that?
lil tingeling a Suhr strat style with a single coil lipstick pickup in neck humbucker in bridge position and some sort of acoustic pickup in the middle. It’s like a piezo in an electric but much more tweakable. I’m pretty sure it’s active
How is this app for bass players? I don't own one of the iRig cables yet, so I don't want to drop $50 if there's not much for me to use it with.
We are going to launch some bass presets very soon. Stay tuned!
Hey there! There is now a bunch of presets for bass in Tonebridge, from RHCP to Periphery. You can download the app and search for “bass” to see the tones. There is also a preview sound there, so you can check out the sound before buying an iRig 🙂
@@t1germetal how about Ukulele? :) just finished my electric Ukulele but can't download the app yet to search for support.
I do not see a record option though? Can it be imported into GarageBand?
Yes, you can use Tonebridge in GarageBand with inter-app audio!
Евгений Лысый how?
The songs so limited, they should just make a pedal and effect app
FYI you need an apple product to use this is on Android too.
is it coming for android?
Not in the nearest future. Android has a very big latency because of poor audio support.
+Евгений Лысый can I ask who you are I've seen you on so many tonebridge videos?
Yes, that's simple. I'm a product manager and designer of Tonebridge.
unfortunately even tho android is superior in almost everyway, the latency problems with audio is an inherent flaw within android itself and the cool guitar processors people get on ios we will never get unless they bomb android and start from the ground up
Just launched today for android
