Yeah, I’m going to need that without the Ruger branding. Lol, Sort of defeats the discrete purpose.
Thanks for the show and tell anyway though.

Looks like a very handy rifle pack. More padding might be useful, but it still seems OK for carrying the gun short distances, etc.,as you said. Thanks for such a good review. I like your product reviews. You make an effort to cover all the relevant features and I appreciate that.

I have a similar bag but a little more heavy duty and most importantly….. it’s a back pack. It has TWO straps to go around both shoulders and is made for the PCC. It fits perfectly and is NOT a big bulky backpack. I can’t imagine just one strap for any long term carry, like on a trail hike. Plus, it doesn’t say “Ruger” aka: ((( HEY EVERYBODY, I HAVE A GUN IN THIS BAG!!! )))

Those side pockets are perfect for paintball pods to store ammo

I just ordered the older model for my PC Carbine with m lock hand guard. Older bag design seems more practical with the interior aspects

I have both. There awsome. Perfect for a truck gun either one. If i was in a wilderness survival situation id grab the 10 22. But if it was a shtf situation where i would have to hunt and defend myself i would want the pc carbine. You cant go wrong with either. Ruger hit it over the fence with these 2.

The 10/22 in the Magpul X22 backpacker stock allows a red dot to be mounted to Magpul's accessory optic mount on the barrel. Do you think this backpack has room for the red dot to fit when mounted to the barrel?

No I don't think there is enough room for a red dot or other optic to go into the barrel pocket of the pack. It is a tight fit for the 9mm PC carbine barrel alone... the 10/22 barrel is probably small but I don't own a full size one to test the fit, I only have a Ruger charger 10/22 pistol. If I had to guess I'd say it won't fit.

That thing is super wide. I think it would be perfect for pizza delivery guys to transport pizza. Water bottle pouches? Seriously? On the other hand, for a Magpul stock equipped take down, it’s a giant piece of luggage. I would not take one for free. Why don’t they make a case half that height, and get rid of the panty material, and those 17 pockets. It looks like a kid’s book bag, and is marketed to the Lego-transformer Demographic. Seriously, make a bag that the take down will slip into. Ditch that whole backpack nonsense. A couple of small d-rings with a removable strap, or no strap provided. Put a carry handle on the end of the bag. Make it Small, compact, slip under the seat size. Serious, it needs to fit in small places under the seat, behind the seat, in a compartment in an aircraft, boat, SUV, etc. Seriously, what are they thinking 😮
