- In todays Episode of The Chronicles of Kayla we're trying to finish this one field up .. breaking records as we go ... Year to Date (as of this video) we have over 36000 small bales .. we're hitting new records with only having 1 1842S Small Square baler paired with 1 4250T Baron -- and this is only 1st cutting of Hay, Straw And some alfalfa .. .we still have all of second cut put another cutting of alfalfa..
how many do you think we will end up with for the WHOLE year?!?

I've heard if the soil PH isn't correct the fertilizer isn't as effective therefore wasting money. Also love the drone footage of you unclogging the baron. Love what you are doing and your videos!

The complexity of all this machinery boggles the mind! It is fascinating - I remember sooo well the smell of freshly cut alfalfa, the raking and the baling! It's been a lot of years, but I still remember! I was a youngster of 15-16 then, and am now 82. Don't know how in the world THAT happened!!

Our FIRST yEAR using the 1840 and the 5250T Bale Baron in a stationary Format converting 4x8 Rounds into small Squares according to the baler counter was 52000 bales Sold and shipped.... We presently Run 3 Krone balers at the time....

One of your better video. None of us are perfect. For us, the in the virtual buddy seat, you are as good as it gets. All the actions were superb. The new view from the drone was you getting out the tractor and attending to a problem with the bale Barron. The tractor cab chat you did pulled it all together. Been missing that feature in your videos. Kayla you have had quite the journey from January to now. You have gone through many challenge that are personal to you and we don't need to know about. I compliment you on keeping the focus on farming and what you and Jason are doing. The many blessing. And new equipment. We are fortunate to see in "welcome to my crazy life as a first generation female farmer" you need to add action mom. 36,000 small bales wow 😮 So about how much does each bale weigh? And how many big bales besides the small?
Small squares are averaged about 42-44# and that’s where majority of clients like them to be at. - - roughly 2000 large rounds for the year so far

does the massy tractors use DEF if so do you go threw a lot of it
Yeah they’re DEF - - but we don’t burn it like the JDs do (in our case) - - we have some pretty cool features that I don’t show enough about - but will have more time with second cutting to talk through more of the tractors

baron has a lot of scary cables in that box as long as they communicate big ol windrows sure wish mf would bring back the old mf logo the new one doesnt have class i have a nh 570 bought new only has little over 18xxx on it im not in you,re league
