How often or many times u get infection since u started peritoneal dialysis ya

I had Peritonitis when I started on P.D which was such a stressful and worrying time. While on Hemo I've just had a toe infection but this was unrelated to dialysis. I still have the line in which they are looking to get out as soon as my HB improves. The line isn't being used anymore and is an infection risk.
