Him bringing out the Arma 3 RHS mod image to use RPG is the best thing of my day
LMAO
lmao and I was wondering whether it really is from RHS, or am I just tired.. Glad not to be alone
The hilarious think is that I confirmed all of the drops with real rockets and distances, and it just fits😂😂
@@valgear5525do you prefer ak 74m or ak 103?
@@abc-kn6ex ak 103, generally love the 100 series
this channel is a great source for civilians to learn basics of using military equipment, keep up!
Yea. Insert "The more you know" meme here.
👍
Anyone volunteering in ukraine needs to spend some time on valgear channel. Brilliant man, brilliant channel.
Try sending that zeroing tool to 3d printers and have them incorporate a laser. I think that would improve it and make it a one man job.
Imagine a collab with this guy would be epic
I would love that, IAM watching your videos man, love your take on the tactical industry😂🥲
Do it guys, but be careful & watch out for R,ussian tricks..
It's 2023. Say the word and someone will design a 3D printable laser pointer holder you can stick into the bore, maybe with a small lever and two knobs so it can be rotated and aligned perfectly with the bore axis.
Hope I understood the process correctly, but this is very doable.
Many of you guys suggested that, I will look into it, since it will help thousand of our soldiers at this point, thank you
Honestly making a device similar to the tube with the aparture but with a laser is easy, 3d print or manufacture something with the same dimensions as the tube, put a laser on a semi fixed mount that can be adjusted using screws
Once you have that you just put it on 2 rollers that are perpendicular to your target and when roll it around and adjust until the laser dosent move when you rotate the cylinder.
If this is something needed it wouldnt be much issue having it made
Lmao didnt expect you to casually pull out the arma 3 rhs RPG guide i've been using for ages
On a side note: InRangeTV claims the AR15 is just as reliable as an AK if well maintained long-term. Handles mud better.
Valgear, is this accurate in your opinion? (Here's a 60s video that is important context IMO: ruclips.net/user/shortsq3wvrehnYWM They drench the AR completely in mud a it works, but you have to see the amount of mud, it's insane haha)
You boresight a howitzer the same way
What your doing is called bore sighting. . They sell different calibers of laser boresights that are shaped like a casing so they seat in the chamber and the laser comes out of the barrel. You just line your laser up with your site at a certain distance and you are good. It saves a lot of wasted time when you're sitting in a new optic. You might be able to get like a green laser pointer and put it in that tube thing you showed us and make your own
Good to see you're still kicking, as usual a fantastic video
Love you🌹🇺🇦✌🏻from morocco🇲🇦
THE ARMA 3 RHS GUIDE
Mr Valgear, potentially look into getting a 3d printer for your group, with ABS and PETG materials you could potentially 3d print a lot of the tools you may have a shortage of (potentially that zeroing tool), I believe some even 3d print the drone bodies for their quadcopters and planes.
as long as you have a decent printer and a guy who's good with 3d software I think they may be able to help you a lot!
good health to you and good luck!
Strip the paracord, many small strings, Thanks !
Brilliant explanation…..and he speaks better English than I do….an Englishman !
This dude runs circles around other gun channels. Legit soldier with legit weapons, not some larper running around a desert with a ski mask.
Awesome another great video👍
i cannot believe im 35 years old, am a massive military nerd and have been my whole life, have a history degree and used to have my firearms/shotgun certs and several centrefire and rimfire rifles along with a few shotguns (am in the uk, not usa, so a lot harder to get hold of weapons/certs here comparatively) and have read probably atleast a few hundred firearms/war memoir/history/weaponry type books...and im JUST NOW realising that an rpg7 needs zeroing 🤣🤣🤣
LOVE the channel val. keep up the good work mate!!
Any pointing weapon needs zeroing. But hey, you have a degree in general history, not military weaponry.
Do my eyes see chest rig made by Roman Kurmaz?
Yes, Roman had it in stock and I had birthday, easy fix!😂
@@valgear5525you guys like his Gear? I’ve used his clothing in exercise and it’s quite alright
I think someone should print a drop-in tool for zeroing with a laser
could easily 3d print something for this tbh even modeled off that actual sighting tube ,could just print endcaps with the slots amd use some pvc pipe for the rest
Great video and interesting information as always
Thanks for this one, Val!
Insightful video. I imagine if you have the means to do so you could 3d print some caps for the ends of the tube for sighting
you gotta have a really good 3d printer then, some printers make things way out of spec and that likely wouldn't help with zeroing.
plus they would probably need to print it in some material that doesn't change when it ages or sits out for a long time, some of the more rugged materials can be difficult to work with.
but yes as long as it doesnt need to be within 0.1mm i think a lot of decent printers can do it, youd probably need to use a roll of ABS or potentially PETG.
with a little googling it says the "Creality Ender 5 Plus" has a print accuracy of "±0.1mm", it could be a really good thing to have one of those with a few rolls of ABS and PETG for Mr Valgear and his team to replace anything that just needs small pieces of plastic to fix it, 3d printers can be really useful as long as you got a guy that knows how to get the 3d models going.
wouldn't a maaws style spotting/zeroing rifle be perfect for this? it'd just fit into the tube like a rocket, fire via some external trigger and fire rounds that match standard HEAT trajectory
Someone needs to add a laser to that zeroing insert. 👍
Outstanding tutorial.
Most excellent. i support the 3D click-on ideas.
Put a laser pointer in a center drilled rod and zero on the dot directly.
And how would you zero the laser pointer in the first place?
Val showing golden information. I never even thought about zeroing these things. Makes so much sense.
This is damn clever
I thought you use training round with some 762 round to zero it since it was made to have same flight characteristics
I now know how to zero a RPG if i ever come across one now.
Fighting would be the HARD part!
Hello Mr. Valgear I know this question is not related to this video but why do you run a red dot like the eotech instead of a powered optic like acog or lpvo. Thank you
Just subbed to your channel an hour ago and you drop a vid lol. Love your content dude, be safe!
So all in all, just like the carl gustav. Exept that the zeroing tools come with the gun?
Wouldn't some piece of plastic rod with the right diameter and a central bore to fit in a 3$ ebay laser pointer do the trick?
No need for a second person either.
So a bore sights does have a use. we zero our rifles live fire so pointless. Bit fuck me with and Rpg makes sense..Once again val best choice for international volunteer. Would you like a lazer bore sight?
I love how they use an RPG Sight guide made for Arma 3.
Excellent video. Clear demonstration.
you can do it also with Czech VH-7 and VH-7A ,good video man 👍👍
dear mr. valgear, pls pls plls make a video about armor piercing rounds
Thank you, now I know ❤
Very interesting never knew about this before. Thanks Val!
do you have some masurements? maybe there is a way to print a special covers to make it more easy to zero this
This distant aiming point method is similar to boresighting mortars.
I’m curious, why would they aim 130-140m away when the top reticle is ranged for targets 50m away?
What is the camo on your Mazepanka hat?
This is gold. I never thought about it
I will never need this but thanks
i will keep in mind thank you mate!
is the target destroyed? then its zeroed :P
good video mr val well done
nice Mayflower rig i have one in strichtarn made by Roman Kurmaz
This one is from Roman as well
On the CG, what I remember, the further the zeroing distance the better. Like a flagpole knob at 300-500 meters is good if you got good eyes and monopod mounted with soft support for some "give" to do minute adjustments. Is the 130 meter recomendation on the RPG7:en necessary or just a distance to make zeroing easier?
I am simple man. I see tube. I see rocket. I like.
what chest rig is that?
++
Thank you for all of your hard work after work. You never know what could happen. So its better to be able to use something effectively than looking like a monkey fucking a football.
Always great videos
I'm wishing you peaceful skies, brother. War is not a toy.
I know this isnt your typical content but would you ever do MRE reviews
Tanks go boom.
You would think someone would invent a piece of 3D printed devices with crosses in the center that fit over both ends of the tube so these guys can get a better zero.
Keep up the good work man and stay safe out there big love from Oz
You made my friday. Thank's m8!
The most impressive thing about this is that you had the foresight to put the reticle printout in a plastic bag, supported by a piece of card for us. That's some - heh - foresight.
It was a teaching aid.
Greetings, our Hero! Protector of the free world!
Is their a Vidor in zero AK-47
Can you do a video on the AUG please
Thanks for the Video
I have never seen similar info anywhere else
Do it by eye. Got it.
Is it true that the iron sights of the RPG-7 distance markers only match up with the PG-7V rocket?
Yes, but the most modern, currently made rpg 7s have very complex mechanical sight, that have data for all the rockets
@@valgear5525
Thanks! Also, how common do you think those newer RPG-7s are in the battlefield in Ukraine right now?
And about the sight units, which one is the most common to be found?
And how often do you think RPG-7s are issued to the frontline without optics, for both Russia and Ukraine?
I know, lots of questions... But you see, I also play Arma and I want to get some authentic information for the missions I'm making lol.
Слава Україні
so is the war over or what?
Why so far from the Frontline clown? You scared?
Dude, don't you think it's a little bit weird to be waging war in the comments with a username and profile photo like yours?
If you're a fan of Prigozhin, then maybe you should be avenging for his death, taking part in some other coup, or something like that, instead of shitposting here?
