No microwave in the room but there is one you can use in the lobby store.
There are definitely things i didnt like about this hotel. The shower head was insanely low. Im 5' 10 and it level with my face. So i had to squat down a bit to wash my head and face. Not to mention they were very psuhy over their "welcome package" which is their time share presentation which will take up 4 hrs of your day. Lobby is gorgeous and distance to disney springs is awesome. But, i agree with you guys. Drury seems like the clear winner. I havent stayed there yet, but they make a good argument for my business.
I'm 6'3' and can attest to the shower heads being too low lol. I think given location and price you and most people will find Drury is a better choice
The reason hotels use resort fees is because that money isn’t shared with third party bookings like Expedia. The hotel gets to keep the entire resort fee.
I understand some of their reasons for them but as a consumer I absolutely loathe dealing with them
