I've stayed at this hotel three times because of its prime location to everything and I have never had a bad experience here. The staff was fantastic, the check in and check out experience was seamless. The pool was perfect Temp as I always visit at March - July.

Omg. The complaints are ridiculous. “Every time I go to that desk they send me to the main one”. Then why do you keep going there? “There’s always a queue”. Yeah. People are checking in and out alllll day. “The pool is cold. In December. The last time I was here (in the end of summer in September) the pool was warm”. God forbid you had to hang your swimsuit on the towel rack. “It’s dripping all over the back of the toilet”. Then wring it out before hanging it.
The shuttles are obvi not the best, but you can go right to Disney springs and get official Disney transportation buses.
If you cut your whining in half, you would have saved yourself hours on this trip.
Yes, ants are GROSS in a hotel room. That’s nasty.

Kind of funny since I just got back from staying at that hotel for 8 days and all of the points you have brought up in this video are all false. The bus shuttle to the parks was amazing, the pool was perfect temp, the room was great with a clean coffee maker.

Really enjoyed this. It was very helpful. We have visited WDW three times and have had differing experiences. We have had a car each time so have had to pay the parking fees at the parks. It was 15 dollars a day last time (January 2020). You have convinced me that is what we need to do next time too.

    • @TheNextOuting
      @TheNextOuting  2 года назад +1

Once inside the Disney bubble there shouldn't really be a need for a car. BUT, Ubers are so cheap over there (as long as you are clever with the surge pricing) that the savings by staying a bit further way (or just outside the Disney bubble), especially if split between 4 people car sharing, means its a no brainer!
Just don't stay at this hotel haha!

Stop complaining man the place is fine I stay there all the time. If you want more upscale pay more and stay at Hilton on the other side of the walkway it’s roughly 500-600/night. Wyndham is a good value.

Hey Stuart! I recommend the moderate Disney Resorts: Coranado Springs, Carribean Beach and especially Port Orleans (Fench Quarter or East Side). I think they are the best bang for the buck. Swan and Dolphin might be worthy as well but I've never stayed personally.Disney

I just stayed there in October 2021 for the start of WDW 50th Anniversary. The hotel is clean, it's a hop, skip, and a jump over the bridge to Springs, If you book through Disney, they have packages that have park tickets, discounts on restaurants, gift shops and souvenirs. Booking through Disney also removes the extra resort fee normally charged at checkout. Transportation to the parks is simple free and actuality much more comfortable than Disney resort Transportation. Finally watching the fireworks from bed, you can't beat that. I'm booked to be back in September.

We used to stay in that hotel way back when it was called Grosvenor
All the benefits of staying at the hotel plaza boulevard hotels was the only reason why stay there. Now all those benefits are gone. Why stay there??? We are so sorry you have to go thru that. What a shame.
We don't know how family's can afford to vacation in Disney world
now days it is way too expensive.

Covid has given hotels (and the leisure industry as a whole) a great reason to reduce service levels. Hopefully they'll come back as the effects from Covid reduce!

You will have issues with ants anywhere in Florida, but his issue didn't appear to be ants it was gnats, ants don't fly. He cant blame a resort for gnats he brings in on his person.

I stayed at the Wyndham lake Buena Vista last year in May 2021. I cannot say this is a luxury resort, but it was clean and comfortable. We had no ants in the bathroom and I am thinking that if you had a problem with ants you should have had informed the front desk and they should have had either moved you from that room or taken care of the ant problem by calling an exterminator. Number three, you complained about the temperature of the pools. You were there in December which is not normally a warm time in Orlando. I used both pools when I was there in May. One is heated and one is not. The one that was not heated was a little cold but the one with the waterfall was nice and warm and comfortable basically the perfect temperature. Number four you're complaining about transportation buses. When I was there last May there were no transportation or buses available because of covid so we walk to Disney springs which is a very short walk and there are buses there to every resort and park that Disney has. That is what we did we caught the buses at Disney springs or we called an Uber. I understand that this is not a luxury resort but it is a good resort. It is close to Disney springs and from Disney springs you could get to any of the resorts and parks in Disney. I understand maybe you don't want to walk through Disney springs and you want to take the shuttle from the hotel but we didn't even have that available when we were there in May and we found it very convenient to have all the buses for Disney available a short walk away. Nothing is perfect and I am a big complainer when it comes to staying in resorts that I am not happy with but this was not a bad resort. The only thing that would drive me crazy would be any kind of pest in the room like the issue you had with the ants. That issue could be easily taken care of by informing the front desk and having yourself removed from that room to another room or having them come and exterminate the bathroom. For some reason ants are attracted to water especially in Florida because I have seen ants in bathrooms in Miami when I stayed there years ago. I think you're complaints are silly and no I do not work for this company but I have stayed there before and I was happy with it. It's not a luxury resort but it's a comfortable family resort. You're just a complaining man.

@@TheNextOuting yes everybody experience is different. But you have literally made a RUclips video telling people not to stay at this hotel just because of your experience you're trashing their name and reputation. In my opinion this is not the right thing to do. If you want to put your opinion and your experience at a stay of a hotel there are apps that you could register and write your experience. By you making a video and the title of the video is do not stay here just because of the simple complaints, you're complaints really did not have much merit as a lot of hotels have these problems. Sometimes the pools are cold because of the weather, in Florida it is known that there might be ants where there is water it is Florida. I have stayed in beautiful hotels in Miami and there have been ants in the bathroom I let the front desk know they come and exterminate and normally they transfer you to another room. The title of your RUclips video is do not stay here. That really is ruining the reputation of a fairly decent hotel. Again I stayed here last year and I'm a big critic of hotels. I have traveled and stayed in nice and bad. This wasn't horribly bad for you to go on RUclips and literally the title of your video is do not stay in this hotel. When I have done reviews for hotel which I do on Yelp I never put a title of do not stay here when I write a review I write my experience. And I'll be honest with you you're complaints have very little merit and because of your little bad experiences you're literally ruining the reputation of a good hotel.
